Must sound great because it is still sealed! Something New is somewhat of rare catch. You don't see too many of these lying around. It is always good to see someone sharing and selling original Beatles merchandise!

Something New--A Record Company Ploy Defiles Artistic Freedom

Pros: Great music by The Beatles
Cons: It's a record company release with no real structure
Something New was an album by The Beatles released by Capitol Records in a blatant (and successful) effort to generate profits. I had really forgotten all about this album until a couple of days ago when I discovered my old original acetate version stored in a box in my attic, but after reading the liner notes (which were pretty few in 1964), all my memories about this album came flooding back to me. In 1964, I can recall eagerly awaiting every new release by The Beatles, and at the time, I was too unsophisticated to really see the difference in the British releases and the American releases..
