Pros:
Ten concise Stones songs, each one great in its own way.

Overt pandering to mainstream by including punk and disco songs.
As far as most critics and the general record-consuming public were concerned, the Rolling Stones, the band that held the trademark rights to the title of Greatest Rock Band In The World, the band that made friggin' "Gimme Shelter," were all but dead. They hadn't made a commerically successful album in years, and what they were coming up with critics were roasting on a rotating spit. So the boys go into the studio to record their 1978 album.
