Sock and Glove by Miyako Kanamori (2007)

This is a great book for any crafter. It is a craft that even the newest crafter can try. And there are many options of stuffed animals to choose from. The step by step instructions with pictures are very well written and laid out. I had no trouble following them at all. And the end product was turned out better than expected. What a great way to reuse all of those old socks and gloves that may not match anymore! I give it two thumbs up.

My daughter is learning to sew, and this book is perfect. The same day the book arrived she made a "glove dog". She was able to follow the directions in the book and make it all on her own. It's written like a story book and has cute illustrations.

I loved this book. Easy and fun to make these animals out of gloves or socks. Illustrations make it easy to understand and many animals can be made in a couple of hours. I bought socks and gloves in the Dollar Store or other discount places at the end of the season and was able to make a variety of different toys. Highly recommended and a nice craft for kids who are old enough to sew too!

I love the book that I bought, but would never buy from this "Store" again as they lied about when I would get the book and I emailed them several times and got no response and when I finally did get a response they gave me some stupid story that the first book was damaged in the mailing process so they mailed me out another one..All in all it took 3 weeks to get my book, when they clearly stated it would be to me in about 48hours.. They have never given me any feedback as well, even though I paid for it quickly..Maybe its because they don't want to get a NEGATIVE feedback from me.. and I know I DON'T deserve a negative feedback as I did nothing wrong. But I have seen how this "STORE" works and so I am not leaving them one...So all in all aren't you glad you asked. I love the book, didn't like the store in which I bought it from.

i really enjoy this how to book using socks & gloves to make stuffed animals...i was looking for a project with instructions that are easy to follow...this craft is also very cost effective...i highly recommend this book.
