I Loved the humour in this book. It has really been helpful. I lost 10 lbs in the first 2 weeks. Ive never been able to lose weight on a diet. I always gained the weight right back. You already hear people talking about having to make a life style change to be able to keep weight off. This book actually helps you make this decision.Something That I thought was hard is actually Simple.
8 MONTHS lATER. MY CHOLESTEROL IS 178 and Befour it has always been over 250.

I decided to buy the book skynny bitchbecause it seemed to be very informative, I'm not done with it yet but so far so good. I'm learning a lot.

I love this book. It was just what I needed to get my fat butt in gear and start losing weight. I also have a son with Autism and it gave me the shove to start him on the gluten free/casein free diet. The language in the book made me laugh!!! I wouldn't buy it for my uptight parents but I would buy it for someone who wants to lose weight.

I loved this book. It changed how I look at food forever. The writers really inspire you with facts & backed up information. It not only teaches you how to get skinny, but how to get healthy. Even if you're already thin, read this book. Everyone deserves to know the truth!

Love the book, I read it once and decided that vegan was the way to go! This book gives the real behind the scenes cruelty to animals and is so heartbreaking. I have suggested it to all my friends and had originally borrowed the book from a friend and wanted a copy for myself. I would suggest this book to everyone!

What I liked- These women are very straightforward when it comes to making their point. I LOVE that. They did not "sugar coat" anything- no pun intended!
They also blow the whistle on our government agencies that are supposed to protect us while they are really just lining their own pockets without regard to our health.

What I didn't like- I do not agree with a total vegan diet. They are 100% against all animal products. I believe if you are smart about what types and sources of animal products you choose, you can still be a "skinny bitch."

I bought the book because I heard it was a good book. I also and tired of being an overweight woman and needed a little bit of a pep talk to get me inspired to do something about the food I eat.

I would recommend this book to anyone who is ready for a change in food choices, and who is also strong enough to be be insulted like a new recruit at basic training. They do it in a very amusing way!

I haven't finished "Skinny Bitch" yet, but I sure am getting a good laugh as well as an eye opener about my eating habits. This book isn't for you if you get offended easily since the language is a little off color. I hope it shakes me up enough to finally start loosing weight! Helen, Tennessee

I bought this book because I read a news paper article on the book when it first came out. I saw it on ebay and decided to bid on it.
It is a good book. Like it states a no-nonsense tough-love guide for savvy girls who want to stop eating crap and start looking fabulous. It offers great information on being vegan and that alone helps one loose weight. This book may offend some people but it is part of the tough love and to some people it will get thier attention much quicker. I have lost weight with help of books like Skinny Bitch and I say thumbs up to people who want to purchase this book.

Wow! This book will really make you think about eating. What your putting in your body, to how animals are treated. This book makes ya think. Pretty good book. I wouldn't want any young people reading it, due that it my make them have an eating disorder. But it was very eye opening.

I paid for my book as soon as I bought it online. Its' been over a month, almost a month and half and I still havent recieved my item. I tried contacting the seller numerous times but there were no responds. I can't believe someone could be so rude! I just want my book that I PAID FOR!!!!!

WOW- I have read many many books about getting thin- but none has ever 'changed my tune' as fast and as deeply as this book has. I was actually moved by the info- the honesty, the brutal truth. I had listened to this book on CD from our local library and once I finished it i knew I needed to have a copy of my own. These women really know their stuff and provide the reader some very interesting statistics and inside information on government agencies that we thought were helpful such as the USDA. A very enlightening read. It makes perfect sense in order to lose weight you really need to take a hard look at what is being put into your mouth. I highly recommend this book to anyone. I feel it has changed my life for the better.

horrible book - i was told it was a funny, informative book- it was vulgar, hardcore, and totally unrealistic. i am an extremely healthy person and take very good care of my body and watch everything i put in my mouth- but this book takes it way too far. i would not reccomend this read to anyone- in fact, i would discourage them not to waste thier money as i did!

I don't really read, but I honestly have read half of this book in the first day! Everything is so easy to read and every sentence is more interesting than the next. This is not just a book or a fad diet, it is a completely different way of life. A way of life that will better you and your family, this easy step by step guide helps even the most unhealthy person out there! If you buy this book you will not only lose weight, you will be able to eat chocolate, cookies, potatoes, corn, and much much much more! This needs to start a trend in America and we need to let these government pigs know that they should care about us and they need to care about what us as Americans put in our body! The things that the government approves in our food seriously has me questioning if our government truly cares about the average American! This book shows that there are many different foods out there that are just as tasty, but just made better, without disease causing products included in the food so that these million and billion dollar companies can keep becoming more wealthy! And if you think about it, not only do the food producing companies become more wealthy with each passing day, but it also helps out with the medical and pharmaceutical companies that make money off of us! While we are getting fatter and sicker they are just getting richer! Doesn't seem fair, does it! America!!! We need to wake up and realize that if we just change a couple of bad habits that they have brain washed us with, we would be a healthier country in every way!

this book does make some good points, although it does have a conspiracy kind of vibe to it :) overall i liked it and i would recommend it. they start out sounding harsh but end on a very intelligent and thoughtful note

I read an outtake and thought it would be hilarious...like dont put chemicals in your body Dumb*** your body is trying to tell you something when it hurts or your nose runs etc etc...
but really its 2 vegans going off about everything and most of their facts are warped and gloss over issues..
the real issue is how can one live on nuts and wheta grass and not be a bitch? they are hungry!

I love this book! It is very informative and to most peoples surprises- they have no idea what they are really eating. I bought this because of Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice Girl). I have been a vegetarian, and after reading this book, would be come one. However, in a perfect world, living the book verbatim would be 100% Healthy World- but for now, take it for what suits you best.

Skinny Bitch is a great book for woman who want to be a skinny Bitch. It has a lot of facts about food, drink and animals. Inspires you to focus and lose weight. Very concentrated on becoming a Vegitarian and then a Vegan; or at least eating soy based foods. Very good book

This book offers about the closest information to "The China Study", that our declining health is directly tied to our food consumption.
That even low fat meats are deadly.
CHIP program being held all across the US is one of the best programs God ever invented! Can reverse Diabetis AND no longer need bypass or stints for cardiac problems...is only a "quick" fix that will end up killing the patient anyways.
Why settle for surgery or quick fix when can reverse heart disease 100% just by changing your diet!

John Hopkins University's 5+ year study of 50 patients with failed bypass and stints...put these patients on the CHIP program...all but one followed it faithfully and all but one has lived long past life expecantcy and enjoy perfect health WITHOUT any cardiac problems what so ever.

isn't part of the Seventh Day Adventist church, but those people have a gift and truth when it comes to our diet and health programs.
Some of the area's SDA church holds these programs, so call your local SDA church for information about this. Is a nominal fee, if can't afford please let them know this, often will wave this fee if needed...those sda people are very loving and giving and will NEVER try to prothlotize you in the CHIP meetings.
We've attended this program several times (is free after you've "graduated" and never once did they bring up their religeous veiws. We expected them to do just a little...but they didn't. They are just interested in YOUR health as a person and not intersted in gaining memebers. For us, this is what religeon should be all about!

The book was very 1980's ex-model turned vegan, funny however. Instead of being a weight loss book it is more about becoming a vegan. Great for your bathroom reading, but that is about all!

This book is down to earth women writing about being fat. They tell you how it is and how it should be. They are so funny. They do use language some might not like but I think it is great.
A friend of mine was reading and loved this book as well so I decided to buy a copy too!
