Simplicity BH600 Mechanical Sewing Machine

It was purchased for a gift and they lived in another state so it was sent there. I loved the price and was happy until it did not sew properly. After a few stitches it stops. It came without a cord so we purchased one to have to go along with the machine. It was also a concern that it took more than 10 days to receive it. Tried emailing and never received any response so I want to return the product. I have shopped on ebay and not had any real concerns in the past. Thank you!
