Sigma 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 DG Macro for Canon AF

Lens is compact yet allows you to zoom in from great distance. I have shot about 700 pics with it so far and love just about everything about it. Size is a big issue when you are carrying a large camera around, anytime you can shave weight and still get the performance is a great thing.

The only issues I have had with it...is at its furthest zoom, it tends to have a small issue locking in on a particular focus point. But nontheless it has worked very well for the type of shooting I do.

I like it. Some people complain because it is a light hog, but I have taken some great portraits with it. It is a nice carry along all in one lens. The quality is good, I am no professional, I take alot of outdoor pictures where light is always available. If you have a good flash you will be fine as well.

I think for the non pro looking for a single lens solution this is a fine product. It also helps if you get it for a good price on ebay.

The ability to take my pictures without the constant changing of the lens while trying to photograph my grandson who doesn't sit still or in the same range for two minutes is great. Also I have very arthritic hands and don't have to fight all the different size lenses. Love the versatility.

I love this lens. I wish that I had bought it earlier. I'm not a photography professional by any means, but I like the abilities it gives me above that of the factory lens that came with my Cannon Rebel.

Bought the lens as a Christmas gift for my wife. Item pictures showed it was in good condition. Ebay seller had good ratings. That was important, I never buy from a poorly rated seller. I also look at feedback to see comments. Lens was just what my wife needed to add to her camera. Cost me less than the new ones selling on Ebay. About $100.00 less. Pictures were important reading how item was described was important. Emailed seller asked a few important questions. Got good answers back in short order. If seller doesn't contact me on questions I don't bid on his product. Got lens good condition. Wife loves it Merry Christmas. I did good.

I had been out West and my old lens must have gotten sand in the extender.It would not go back to 28mm.It was cheaper to buy a new one on Ebay than to have my other lens serviced.I am delighted with the new lens!
