Shooter (2007, DVD)

Wow, This is surprisingly good. I was expecting the same movie that has been done many times over, but the moive kept my interest and I really enjoyed the story line. Without giving away the movie this has a good flow to it and does not have the sappy, bring the movie down, love interest. There are hints, but it does not lead you away from the flow of the movie. Great extras and I really enjoyed the sniper information that was explained within the extras of the DVD.

This is a very good movie I will recomend this movie to other people and friends.And all of the actors are very very good in this movie.

I have never been a big Mark Wahlberg fan. So when this movie came out in the theatres I ignored and forgot about it. I was watching our local cable movie channel last night and I was able to catch it. Boy was I impressed.

The movie follows Wahlberg's character Swagger who is a sniper in the US army. After a mission goes wrong Swagger decides to remove himself from the military and retire into the mountains.

It is here that he is recruited by a mysterious clandestine group of people lead by Colonel Isaac Johnson (Danny Glover's character). He is then thrust into a conspiracy where Swagger is accused of murdering VIA snipping of an Ethiopian Arch Bishop.

The movie has lots of great action, a very good plot, and a few nice twists to keep you interested.

Keeps you on the edge of your seat through the whole film. Te action was amazing and the story line was genius even if the main guy was a Marine it still kept your attention and left you satisfied at the end.

I had owned the movie previously and it was stolen from my home. I liked it so much that I decided to buy another copy. My fiance is in the military and he is always pointing out which weapons are which. Overall a great movie. It is very action packed. Shooter is an AWESOME MOVIE!! Mark Wahlberg plays an awesome role. A LOT of A++ Sniper Action. If you like U.S. Conspiracy Theories, you'll love THE SHOOTER. A lot of great action, suspenseful, will keep your attention, and keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end!

GREAT MOVIE STARRING MARK WAHLBERG. FANTASTIC STORY LINE,VERY BELIEVABLE AND SOME AWESOME ACTION. NICE THING ABOUT WALHBERG IS THAT HE CAN TRANSFOR HIMSELF INTO ANY CHARACTER. Great movie, fast action, suspensful, recommend to adults, Reason I bought, like actor, and heard the movie was good.Very Good movie, in my opinion.

After reading the credits and finding out that Antoine Fuqua was the director, I was 100% positive this was going to top Training Day; at least action wise. Especially since this is a military-based movie about a conspiracy. But don't get your hopes up, this movie drags for the first hour or so until good guy and enemies meet face to face.I was given this movie by a friend who said "If you like The Bourne Supremacy you will love this!" man get real. The concept isn't great and the action scenes weren't unique. The bottom line, don't buy this movie, rent it.

While searching eBay for the movie Shooter, I came to the subject listing. The price was excellent so I did a buyit now. Movie was received in about a week in good condition and as promised. Plan to do business with the seller again.

Love this movie, awesome!! If you like action Shooter this is the movie to get. Mark is awesome in this movie. The ending is kind of like departure.

Hunter writes great, gutsy books and this story made the translation to the big screen with considerable aplomb. The action is relentless and smart. Mark creates a sympathetic character and has a terrific restrained energy about him.
Excellent supporting cast and my wife liked it too. We need more of this kind of movie.

I have seen this movie several times and the price was right so I picked it up. The only part that was important to me was the widescreen. It is a great clean movie and everyone can enjoy. action packed throughout. A must see.

Shooter is an action packed adrenaline fueled rush which would be enjoyed by any beer drinkin', lugnut turnin', bass fishin', deer huntin', Down home american. Although the plot is a little bit out there on the side of radical conspiracy theories. It is enjoyable and most of the equipment used is accurately depicted (as a jarhead I have used all the same toys). And the stunts, while dramatic are also pretty close to the real thing. It is great enertainment for anyone who enjoys action packed movies or movies involving comspiracies within our own government.

Fantastic movie...breath-taking and exciting especially during the "shooter's shots". Never a dull moment. Very much recommmended!

This movie is awesome! I can't believe it didn't get more media coverage when it came out. It is different from many action movies in that it is about just one man's personal vendetta to make right what is wrong with the government. It definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole movie. The character development was great and just added to a very exciting & interesting plot. This movie has moved into my top 5 all time favorite films.
