This is a very funny interesting series about single women in New York and relationships/sex. You never know what is going to happen next.

Sarah Jessica Parker and her friends experience the relationships/sex life of New York city. They laugh, they cry, learn new thing about themselves, and try to find love.

I like this because it breaks taboos and discusses real issues 30 something women have in the dating world. The only thing that may detore you from buying it, is the amount of nudity in this show. It is not suitable to watch this with children nearby. Other than that call the girlfriends over and have fun watching, laughing, crying, and discussing what this show is about...sex! Also if you liked this you might also try "The L word" its like a lesbian sex in the city.

The set is nice, however it did not match with the picture. It's the asian version, which, as you can imagine, is pretty embarrassing when giving as a gift. I could have bought the asian version from Amazon for the same price, but saw that this one looked like the American version both in picture and description. Needless to say, "The Special Editiong" title wasn't what I expected. The $20 shipping charge for a dvd was also pretty absurd.

The Sex in the City box set we recieved is perfect. No problems with any of the discs and the quality is top notch.

I think it's got it's moments but I definately bought this to get some brownie pts. with the girlfriend.

The product was great, and the seller was wonderful! They sent me a card thanking me for my purchase! I would definitely buy from this seller again.

I never received the product. I am out over $100. I paid by money order, it was cashed and I never received a refund. This person is a criminal and should be prosecuted.

The DVD's would not play continously in any 3 of my players. Subtitles would always be on event when I chose them not to be. In spanish and chinese.

I really liked that the shipping was a very reasonable price and it was shipped to me within1 days of ordering. It was exactly what was described. The only thing i didn't like was on one of the discs i found that 2 episodes do not work. That was the only problem but other then that everything was great.

I was advised by ebay NOT complete this purchase, but they would not give details. I did advise PayPal and my credit card company of the ebay notification. This DVD set appears to be a Chinese bootleg product, definitely lower quality than other HBO DVD sets. However, I paid only a little under what the "real" thing should cost, while I think the actual cost of what I received may be only half of what I paid for it. Am currently awaiting resolution from PayPal, etc.

I purchased this set many months ago ... upon receiving it, all of the discs (not just one or two) were either blank or did not work! There were many typographical errors throughout the entire set, as there were little blurbs here and there regarding the seasons and episodes.

I contacted meganlauren07@aol.com and she told me to mail the set back, at my own expense of course, and she would send me a new set. She apologized and I thought it was a done deal.

I send the package back the very end of May/beginning of June and had a receipt noting that they received the package on June 10. Guess what? I have yet to receive my new set AND Meg is not accepting emails at this email address any longer! At first, there was an 'out of office" reply saying that she was out until June 13 .... now ...not accpeting emails. So, I am now out my $$$$ and the Sex and the City DVD set!

I would recommend NOT buying from this seller!!

After seeing the movie, I had to have it!!!! I had never watched it while it was on HBO but I am so glad that my sister asked me to go to the movie!

Only positive remarks regarding the item! It was exactly what I was looking for and found it quickly on ebay!

The series is very nice, comes neatly packaged in a pink-felt type carrying case. There is a guide that gives a brief summary of each episodes' contents. Each showing year is nicely divided in the carrying case. My first impression was very positive. I watched the first year's DVD and the set that I received was produced for Asian sales. On each episode, despite shutting off captioned headings in the options menu, I received tall white letter captions in an Asian language. For someone who does not read or understand any Asian language, I found it very distracting on the screen. I would recommend that you check out through your merchant what caption capabilites exist before you purchase the series set.

this is a series my hisband and i have watched off and on for several years, it will make you laugh, it will make you cry, and sometimes it will touch your heart..it is an adult series as far as i am concerned, and after seeing the new movie that came out that finished up the series... i saw this set and wanted to see the entire series from start to finish with no missing episodes...i recommend it for fun, leisure and sometimes making us thnk of times on our own life when we were in the same circumstances....it has a wild and crazy variety of charactures and is something we will keep and enjoy over and over..i recommend it and hope everyone enjoys it as much as we do.....baby-doll
