This is my favorite movie with both Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase together. He was her first husband and just can't seem to get rid of him. He keeps showing up again and again. I have seen this movie dozens of times and never tire of it. Whenever the two are together you are bound to laugh. Great movie!
I am a goldie Hawn fan. Neil Simon's movie "Seems Like Old Times" is a classic comedy starring Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase. Goldie and Chevy make a good team up. Chevy Chase is a writer who is kidnapped and forced to rob a bank. His ex-wife (goldie) is married to the district attnorney who is partically hunting him down for the crime he did not committ. Goldie is a lawyer that will defend him in court. A very funny movie that brings back many good memories.
Great Goldie Hawn comedy! One of her older less known movies and one that isn't played on TV to death but one of her best! I saw it once and HAD to have a copy for myself! It's a must see for the family!
I was searching for this product because my husband has been asking for the last several years for this for a Christmas present & we have been unable to find it anywhere. This year, for some reason, I thought about using E-Bay & BINGO! I found it on the first try & was able to purchase it that day. Boy was I excited. Needless to say, my husband was so excited that I was able to get it for him. We are very happy with our purchase & have watched it several times. I have, since then, purchased several other items & have been very happy with everything.
ITS A CLASSIC. SIMPLY PUT. VERY HARD TO FIND IF YOU ASK ME. BETTER TO BUY IT NOW BEFORE ITS GONE. I LIKED EVERY THING ABOUT IT. CHEVY CHASE AND GOLDIE HAWN ARE BRILLIANT IN THIS MOVIE. A MUST HAVE FOR ANY HARD CORE MOVIE LOVER.

Seems Like Old Times

Pros: funny, witty script and great performances from Chase and Hawn<BR/>
Cons: spins a little out of control at the conclusion
It's really too bad that Chevy Chase, Goldie Hawn, and Charles Grodin don't get many scripts as well-written as Neil Simon's comedic romp, Seems Like Old Times. Lately Chase (one of my favorite actors growing up) has resigned himself to showing up in family films like Snow Day and Man of the House (not to mention the painfully unfunny Aflack insurance commercial he can currently be seen in), or allowed his humor to badly imitate itself in the never ending spawn of Vacation films (sorry folks, Vegas Vacation was 3/4ths crap and I'm a die hard fan of the series). Sadly, Hawn also seems past her.

Dogs, dogs everywhere

Pros: goldie hawn at her most likeable, dogs
Cons: none
This is one of my favorite Goldie Hawn movies. Goldie plays a public defender whose ex- husband causes great problems for her. Err, maybe I should say more problems for her. Goldie has a soft spot for all the clients she represents. If she does not personally hire them herself (as chauffeur, gardener, etc.), she finds them jobs because that is usually part of the deal she has made with the judge -that in order to keep them out of jail, her "clients" be gainfully employed. Her good-heartedness also includes a household of stray dogs - 7 I believe I counted, of all sizes.. Her ex-husband is...

Not as good as "Foul Play" but fun!

Pros: Goldie Hawn, Chevy Chase
Cons: sitcom script, Charles Grodin!
The second pairing of Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase is not as much fun as their first outing "Foul Play", but it has it's moments! The basic flaw is in the chemistry, which was great in the first film, the casting of Charles Grodin is the main culprit, he takes to much away from the dynamic duo! The script is very sitcomish and the ending is a let-down , ending on a question mark instead of with a comedic bang, that said the film is very enjoyable and better then most comedies of its kind! The scene with Chevy hiding under the bed while Goldie is talking to Grodin is a classic!
