Second Chances by Elise Lufkin (2003)

I am so glad that someone finally compiled some stories that show not all dogs are doomed if they end up in the shelter because they are not purebreds or they are considered useless. This book shows that all animals have something to give in return for love and affection.
This just tugs at your heart strings if you love animals. If you care about the animals that are lost and alone in shelters and would like to hear some good stories about some of these animals then this is the book for you.
I love this book because I am a person who does all I can to help dogs at shelters. I even adopted all the dogs I could handle (8) along with rabbits birds and cats (all who were on "the list").
