Saw a trailer for this film and found a nice sellar of VHS on Ebay. Al Pacino is good and the story line keeps your interest. I don't think there was chemistry between him and Ellen Barkin.
When I bought this, it was for the title song. I had no idea if I would like the movie. In searching for "Sea of Love" on a CD, I found it was the only song I liked on the album, so I did not buy a CD. The movie turned out to be a great thriller with a sizzling relationship between Al Pacino and Ellen Barkin and with great comic relief by John Goodman. The thing I disliked about the movie was - another singer, not Phil Phillips, singing Sea of Love while the credits were rolling.
