I have recently started reading this author's books and really enjoy the fact that when I get ready for another one all I have to do is sign on and get it in the mail promptly. I bought it because I felt the price was fair.
I love this author and she didn't let me down with this book! I read this book in 2 days, couldn't put it down; passed it on to my teenage daughter, who read it faster than I did! It's a must read!
I bought this book about 2 weeks ago, and as soon as I received it, I was ready to read it. The book was so good, that could not put it down, I read the book with in 4 days, when ever I had a minute to read. Francine Rivers is an awesome author. Her books are written so you can understand and keep up with the story. Scarlet Thread is one of the best books that I have written. I just enjoyed how she was able to bring two different lives together, without skipping a beat. The intensity of what was going to happen next. Just awesome reading. Thank you Francine Rivers, you are truly an inspiration to me. God Bless all that reads this and all of your books.
This book is the second that I have read by this author. She has become my new favorite author! her stories keep you on your toes wondering what will happen next. This book will make your heart smile and your sould cry. It has two stories of two women from different life times. They both learn how to draw close to God and follow His path. This book is purely amazing! I read it in 3 days. I could not put it down!
Love Francine Rivers books this one wasn't her best but it was still a very good and I will read it again and pass it on to my sisters. I own most of her books and I will buy all that she writes.
This is an excellent book by Francine Rivers about two women from different periods in history who are trying to pick up the pieces of their lives after having had problems with men. In the end, both women have learned a great deal, as well as have become reconciled with their husbands. Francine Rivers is a great Christian author, whose books I have enjoyed for many years. She manages to connect integral issues of modern culture with a positive Christian worldview in a way that allows the reader to think about the issue in an interesting light. I read this book several years ago, and bought it this year as a gift for a friend.
This book is a riveting read from start to finish. A book with both modern day and historical romance, intrigue, hardships and surprises. A must read for those who love God and the way only He can turn chaos into perfection.
This is one of the best writings of author Francine Rivers. The book carries the story line through to the final pages. She has woven a balance between the past and present, proving that lives can often repeat the same desires and results even many years apart. This book is a shining example of the great Christian novels that Ms. Rivers create.

About the Author Since the moment I first read a Francine Rivers novel I ve been hooked on her writing. Many people seem to think that as long as a book is Christian it s a good book and writing talent isn t even considered. That being the case, publishers are willing to publish some very poor books because they know people will read it anyway. Francine Rivers was a successful secular writer before becoming a born-again Christian, and at that point she began writing Christian fiction. Her first Christian novel, Redeeming Love was actually a finalist for the Romance Writers of America Choice...

THE BEGINNING........................................ Sierra Clanton and Alejandro Madrid were in love. Sierra was white and Alex was Hispanic. Her father was not happy about that. Living in southern California all his life, he knew how hard it was to be hispanic and work hard to eak out a living working in the vineyards. He didn't want his only daughter to be married to the son of a "beaner", as they were called, and have that hard life. To make matters worse, she was 15 and he was 18. It didn't matter to him that Alex ranked #4 in a class of 200 and was working to save money to put himself..
