I have this cd, bought it in 97 when released, i just happened upon it while looking at somomes auctions, thought may as well review it .. its got all their hits on it .. greaat anytime listening cd.. ( well maybe not a funural) but other than that its an all around great cd.

i like the music on this CD a lot. there are a few really great songs that i just cant get tired of! i bought it to replace the old one i had.it was such a great CD i found it worth replacing.

Savage Garden - Savage Garden cd.I love this cd! It is one of the cds I put in my car when I'm on the raod. The songs entice you to sing along while the music has an infectious beat to it. The combination of the two are great for cruising down a long, empty highway.
My sons introduced me to this group. Savage Garden had actually been on the charts for quite awhile before I heard any of their music. I had decided that with a name like Savage Garden, their music wasn't the kind I normally listened to. Boy, was I wrong! The old adage "You can't judge a book by its cover" was the first thing I thought of when I was listening to this cd for the first time. Their music is good and the way they use the english language in their songs is a delight. They use word combinations that explode in your mind and add an extra layer of enjoyment to their music.
This was the 2nd cd of this album that I bought. I wore out the first one. I have the second album as well. I would recommend this group to everyone.

I love this CD. I saw them in concert when I was in my 20's. I think I was one of the few adults there. I bought it from Ebay because I lost my orginal.

I recently purchased a CD by Savage Garden that was in excellent condition, as is the cover. Savage Garden music is timeless to me and my CD was badly scratched in a move so I was most anxious to find another. There is nothing that I find displeasing about the CD.

There are very few CD's that I can listen to all the way through without having to skip a song and this is one of those. I have probably listened to this CD over 500 times since I have owned it (yes if you take a look at the CD itself you can tell it's very worn - but still it doesn't skip yet). I'm sure soon I will need to go get a new copy because I will have played it too much. The story of how I first heard of Savage Garden is on that I have added to another review but because it's so funny I'll briefly put it here also. I was at Wherehouse one day looking for something new to listen to...

This, my good readers, is the first good album I ever owned. Once upon a time, some five or six years ago I was up in my friend Amber's loft. Having listened her only Spice Girls CD to death, and getting a little tired of Hanson, she put on a song I vaguely recognized at the time: I Want You more well known as "The Cherry Cola Song." Around a year later, after getting a CD walkman, I finally bought the band's self-titled debut. The CD begins with the haunting The Moon and Back, and (in my opinion) Savage Garden's best work. As a 9-year-old I was awed by it, and I still am when I listen to it..

Many people have probably listened to Savage Garden. If you hear the name "Savage Garden", it may turn a few heads. My first experience in listening to the group was on the radio. I noticed that they always played Savage Garden's songs all the time, so no wonder they get so much coverage since their songs are magnificent. They are even still playing songs from this album NOW. I decided to listen to this album because some of the songs on the radio served as *teasers* to me so I wanted to go get the full scoop. I hadn't listened to this album in years. I do mean years. Yes, I had always known that I couldn't get rid of this CD, and I did buy Affirmation, and I did buy Darren Hayes' solo album. But somehow, I couldn't find the time to actually sit down with Savage Garden's self-titled any time in the past four years. (Haven't listened to Affirmation in about one, or Hayes' solo in about six months.) So maybe I have to admit to being a bit of a genre snob?
