SanDisk Sansa m240 (1 GB) MP3 Player

I've only had my Sandisk M240 for a couple of days but, I already have it loaded with my favorite oldies. I had no problems transfering from my CD's to computer to the M240. It's hard to believe how fast you can load songs onto it. I also downloaded an audiobook. I was a little worried about how to resume listening to an audiobook after you had stopped listening for a while, but when I powered the player back up to start listening again, it took right off from where I had left it. I'm not sure how I did that, but it worked for me. The player has great sound and the controls are pretty easy to figure out. I wish somebody could figure out how to make ear buds that will stay in. Do they make them? I don't think you will go wrong with the Sandisk, if you decide to buy one. They are priced right, when compared to some of the other players out there.

I like that the m240 is loud and has a excellent equalizer and that it has a built in fm radio, i don't like that it dies out you batteries quickly, i thought of buying it because not many mp3 players have a built in fm radio and to my i thought that was cool!!.

Easy to work. Easy to download music onto and maneuver. Excellent value! Would buy over and over again, such a great price for the features and my 8 year old daughter loves it.

Easy to use product! Super lightweight and holds tons and tons of music! Headphones play super CD quality sound too! Excellnt item for the gym or cycling and very affordable too! Battery Life goes on and on and on! You can get up to 20 hours on one small AAA Battery! The product adds up to two things, Budget and Satisfaction!!! In our opinion, one of the best inventions since the Sony Walkman.

This is the second sandisk m240 I have purchased. What's not to love about it. Price was great Holds 1 gigabyte of music has fm stereo, and plenty of settings to tailor the sound to your liking. The reason that this is the second one I had purchased, is that my wife had borrowed the first one, really liked how easy it is to use and download music on, and asked if she could keep it. what could I say? Probably the best feature is the plug and play compatability with windows media player. you just plug it in. the computer detects it, and automatically launches media player so you can sync music to it. you don't need any of that itunes nonsense either!!

I love that this mp3 player is small and that I can take it anywhere. It is easy to use and load songs from the Rhapsody web site. It was a good bargain. Thanks!

I have 2 of these. They work great. Easy to download music. Easy to delete music. I have a silver and Hot pink. I use each one for different types of music. I also am planning to purchase another to give to my 75 Yr old mother for chistmas with alot of old music on it..They are inexpensive and work great.

For the price is a good shopping.This mp3 is better that others mini mp3. The quality sound is good and menu is easy.

This is a *great* little MP3 Player. We bought one just like it (silver) for our son (then 13) Christmas '06 for $70, and bought my daughter (11) a different brand Christmas '07 because it was cheaper. The screen broke out of hers the first week, and the case broke within 4-6 weeks. My son's SanDisk Sansa was still in great shape, and since he took it with him everywhere for over a year, that seemed a pretty good recommendation. The price has come down a lot since then, as well, only $20, so it should have been a no-brainer to begin with. My kids use it with our Napster subscription, and they've never had a problem. It has great sound, even good bass (according to my now 15 yr old son). My dad also carries a SanDisk Sansa to listen to audio books. He likes the menu and interface better than any other player he has tried (which is several at this point). I've been through 4 different types of players in the past year, and finally bought a 2 GB SanDisk Sansa which looks and interfaces exactly the same as the 1 GB. The 1 GB holds plenty of music, but I use my for audio books as well, and I like being able to download the whole thing at once to my player. It doesn't even seem to run through batteries terribly fast, which is great when you have so many going at the same time! We will buy SanDisk again!

I have bought 2 of these Sandisk Sansa 240's for family members. The device is easily picked up by Windows XP and I am able to transfer .mp3 files directly to the device without being forced to use Windows Media Player or any other application. The radio reception is surprisingly good. The sound quality may not be the best, (this is why I am only giving it 4 stars). But I like its simplicity and the ability for me not to worry about charging the battery, as the AAA battery lasts over 1 month for me. Overall, a good product.

funny you should ask for a review...It was great up till yesterday...I was listening to it all day long and the battery leval was fine,,new battery..it stopped working!!! will turn off and on but nothing else...will not do ANYTHING!! wasted my money!!!

I bought this MP3 player for my wife, who isn't a big techology fan, but needed something to listen to when she went to the gym. She absolutely loves it, and it is simple enough for her to use herself. It is a great product, and the seller was wonderful too.

I really like the Sansa MP3 players. They're easy to use, take one AAA battery and run for 8-10 hours straight on a cheap battery. They are easy to sync to my pc, I'm loving the extra song storage on the 1 GB model, and I just like this little unit because of it's simplicity. It has easy to see and operate buttons as well as it's easy to program. Mine came with no instructions, but it wasn't hard to figure out. All in all, just a nice little mp3 player.

I purchased the SanDisk m240 (1GB) MP3 player recently and love the way it sounds and how user friendly it is. I have purchased this model for my children and I feel it a perfect MP3 player for anyone as young as age 7. For the money this MP3 player is a great buy!

Very easy to use the buttons are handy and where they should be and it has the buttons it should. The menus and selections are in a logical order which make it easy to get to where you need. I really like this player.

This MP3 player is easy to use and one AAA battery lasts a long time. It is small in size, but big in performance. I enjoy the shuffle option. I use Windows Media player to put music onto it from my own CDs. It is very easy to do. I also have a portable speaker that I use to play music when not using headphones. The music quality is excellent.

Web site is very helpful! I purchased this "pink" unit because of the price. SanDisk has had problems with this model. Mine is refurbished with the latest drivers installed. Using Window Media 11 for loading my CD's to Mp3 files, this was very easy and I am a novice.Love the FM radio, but I bought a small regular earphones because I do not like to earbuds that come with the Mp3 player, keep popping out. I think this will be a good purchase!

Small,great price and great quality sound.Easy format and very understandable directions.Plug and download without cd rom is a plus.
