SPRINT PCS Vision Multimedia Phone MM-8300 by Sanyo (Sprint Nextel)

I recently brought a sanyo mm-8300 cell phone i was very please with the good shape the phone was in and the fast service i recieved it i would recamind this phone to anyone looking for a good phone at a low price

this phone is great for the non-fancy phone people. Durable, has every function and even comes with a cute little kangaroo animation guy!!

Phone was as described and it works great. I can even add the GPS to it even though it is an older phone thanks to the new Sprint PCS navigation package!

its a great item i got it so i could get sprint service and it works great and i love it i will buy a nether one just cuz its a great phone and so money people like those phone i thoght i better get one just to do it cuz evarything is soo good in that phone

It is a good, rugged and well designed phone. At this point it is out-dated as far as options go, especially with the lack of "Bluetooth" capability.

I love my sonyo 8300 i wanted a up grade from the 8200 and i choose this company because of the feed backs.. Seemed very honest and liked what i read..
the phone works great the shipping was really.really fast.. No problems with sprint getting the phone changed over..

This is a great phone with an easy menu system and good features. Be prepared to buy a cable for $20 to up/download photos, ringtones, contacts, etc. if you don't want to subscribe to Sprint data services. Use free BitPim to handle data transfers across the cable or buy a possibly more capable program (BitPim has its limitations). The camera is easy to use, but so far I haven't been able to find a player for the videos I've downloaded from the phone. There are some annoying glitches, such as when an alarm sounds with the phone off, and then "phone off" remains on the display even after you turn the phone back on, and there doesn't seem to be any way to delete ringtones you've downloaded via the cable even though the phone seems to accept only four new ones.

I washed my phone in the washing machine, and couldnt get one from sprint for less than 150.00 - the one I bought is a bit scuffed, but works GREAT! For the money I payed for it, and the added gift of a car charger (which I dont know how I have lived without) I am thrilled with my purchase!

I had this phone for about 2 years. Nothing was wrong with it at all! It is a great phone to have and has many capabilities. It also is a vision phone not a POWER vision phone. This basically means it is alot cheaper for any add on through sprint. My new POWER vision phone rates are ridiculous!! On the MM-8300 I payed $5 a month for unlimited txt messaging, unlimited picture mail, and unlimited interent usuage. The MM-8300 runs on a different operating system then then new POWER vision phones. In my opinion its all just to make more money. The POWER vision phones might be a bit faster but deff! not worth it!! On the new sprint POWER vision phones its $15 for unlimited txt messaging, $25 for unlimited internet, and $10 for unlimited picture mail! Its ridiculous! All those add ons add up to almost the price of the MM-8300!. THE MM-8300 IS WORTH THE MONEY AND THE TIME! I HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS PHONE TO ALL SPRINT USERS! YOU GET THE BEST DEALS WITH IT TOO BECUASE OF THE OLDER OPERATING SYSTEM IT USES! A++++++++ PHONE!

I love this phone it has everything. I really like the video. I have nothing bad to say about this phone. I liked the first phone so much that I purchased another one for my son to use and he loves his phone too. This phone is worth the money and I would buy it again. I bought this phone becacuse of the features it has and the reviews I read about. This phone is loaded with features from Ready Link, Text messaging, video, camera, full color. You name it and it has it. If your looking for a great phone this is the one.

I have bought two extra Sprint PCS Sanyo(red)MM-8300 phones because I have one I got when I renewed my contract with Sprint, these are really nice phones, (especially the Red ones LOL) which they do not make anymore! Also, I got one to replace mine when needed (I am very hard on phones) and one for my boyfriend. The features on this phone are great....I'm sure there are more expensive phones that do more and maybe better but I am very pleased with the Sanyo MM-8300!

My purchase arrived quickly. I would do business with the seller again. I decided to go with thr 8300 after speaking with a sprint rep, of all people, who suggested trying ebay.

I had this phone before, but in blue. I lost it a week later and it was not insured. I went on ebay to find the phone again and was very happy when I found it and it was half the price I paid for the other one. I watched very closely to see if I was going to get the bid. When to last minutes came down and I beat all the other bids, I was so happy. I am not good at bidding cause if it doesn't look like I could win I give up. This time I really wanted that phone, so I hung in there. I was really impressed by the short time it took for it to reach my home,also. I glad I remember to check on ebay. It was worth it to me. I also insured it this time, so I don't run into the same problem again. I will be a returning customer.

Tried several phones that had horible reception and dropped calls all the time. This is a great phone with great reception (you can even record a short video of your kids and use it as your ring tone). I will never go with anything but a Sanyo phone.

I love the features and this phone helps me stay w/ the older plan of unlimited text messaging, internet and picture mail...the newer high speed internet phones will force me to change my plan and new charges for each service. All the stores were selling this phone for $279.99. I got it off EBAY for $125.00 plus s/h $10.00. It was a great deal,and brand new in the box. I couldn't pass that up!.
There is nothing that I dislike, so far It has been great and I do most of my shopping on EBAY. For every occassion, I find great stuff from back in the days of old and new things from today. Won't shop any where else...

I purchased the Sanyo MM-8300 a couple of weeks ago. I absolutely love this phone. It is easy to use, offers lots of functions, lightweight and excellent battery life.
I highly recommend this phone. And, just when I thought Sanyo couldn't get any better.

I love the speaker phone. The voice quality is great. The pictures aren't the best, but are great for the way I use it. The ring tones are loud, which is great for when the phone is in my wife's purse. I have a good looking silver and my wife has the blue. Very satisfied with the phones.

LOVE THE READILINK, THE VIDEO, CAMERA, JUST ONE WARNING THE PHONE DOES NOT LIKE GETTING NEAR WATER OR IN IT IN THAT CASE. TAKES BEAUTIFUL PICTURES AND THE VIDEO IS PRETTY CLEAR. VERY SIMPLE TO US EVEN TECHNO CHALLENGED PEOPLE CAN USE THIS PHONE.

So far, I own 3 of these guys and they have served my cell phone needs well! They get better reception and last longer then other sprint phones on the market. they are reasonably priced and are pretty small. overall, it's a good choice if you are looking for a sprint phone!

I would order from him again and he keep good contact with the customer. I can't complain about anything.

Battery stays charged longer than my LG phone. Don't like when scrolling through contacts, for example if you type in L it onlt shows you the contacts names that start with that letter and doesn't let you continue down to the rest of the contacts in the phonebook. (Very minor thing)
Takes good pictures, video quality is ok.
Changeable part of the face plate is what I like.
Dont like how when you set a password for your pictures and videos it only asks for it one time and then you don't need the password anymore to see pictures/videos. It only asks for the picture/video password again if you turn off the phone and turn it back on.
It's a great phone.
I like how it is compatible with mp4 so I can make my own ringtones and send them to the phone.
Overall its the best phone I've had so far.
