Roswell - Season 1 (2004, DVD)

Roswell is a tv series I watched as a kid and I got reminded about it on youtube and I was hooked all over again. Personally I got season 1 because I did not just want to rent it. I wanted to own it and watch it over and over again.

I didn't become a fan of Roswell until way after the series ended. I certainly wish now that they continued the show longer than its three seasons. I am enthralled. It's a teen soap opera but it definitely grabs you and holds your interests.

Roswell is a great series, once you do get into it. I bought the first season at a garage sale and I normally do not watch "seasons" of TV shows but I was hooked and ended up buying all three seasons. They had some nice "twists" and the characters were sarcastic at times, which makes it funny. So I would say this would appeal to the younger and middle age crowd. But I am not an expert on this.

I always liked Roswell when it was on tv, just never had the chance to get the seasons.. thanks to Ebay, I finally started to collect them.

I have always loved this show, but I do not like how the producers changed some of the music during the episodes. I am still grateful to be able to watch my favorite show whenever I want.

That there were no scratches and the box was mint and bought it for my girlfriend and she thought it was brand new till i told her i bought it off ebay. amazing.

This show had our entire family mesmerized for a few months as we watched all three seasons. Season One draws in you in and you immediately begin relating to the characters. It combines Roswell, New Mexico as the campy hq of Alien hunters , real Aliens and some inter-species relationships and weaves an interesting tale that makes you watch the shows for hours at a time. Very well done. Romantic, funny, Sci-fi - has it all!

I watched the series when it was first out on tv. I have to say that the dvds brought me back to that time. I really enjoyed them. Only thing is that a lot of the songs were different from back in the day. I wish that when Alex was being a dirty cop (which was to funny) that the song was still ride the train. It made it so much better.

Great condition. I got hooked by watching one show and need to find out the end of the story.
I like SIFI movies. I was watching Roswell on my laptop from full espiodes. When I watched several shows I decided to purchase the next two seasons. I am very pleased with the show so far still need to finish the last season.
Great story and good acting. I like all the characters. It keeps you on your toes great suspense.

Disappointing show with poor acting. I could not get past the 3 eposide in season (1) before concluding no wonder it only lasted 3 seasons.

I had seen some of this one weekend on the Sci-Fi channel and really liked it. I had to make myself quit watching it because I just couldn't sit there all day watching tv, lol! So I bought this! I realize this would probably be more for my daughters age group (24yo, who also loved it!) but I was definitely hooked!! I love the characters Max and Liz! They are precious! I absolutely loved the series and have just gotten series 2 and 3. My daughter calls me every day asking me if I have finished series 2, so she can watch it! I am trying to watch it quickly, so I can pass it on. I am sad to see it is only a short show, only 3 seasons long. Don't think I will be ready to let it go! Thanks to the seller!!

We bought it because we had seen some episodes and few years back and wanted to get the whole story. It had been a great family time for us. The show does move a little slow, but the story line is good. Our grandson sure does love it and it has brought family time back....thanks

Roswell Season 1 is my favorite because it’s the most romantic of the seasons. The depth, intensity, and unexpectedness of it all created a great first season. After watching Season 1, I too fell in love with Max right along with Liz.

I absolutely love Roswell, and have since purchased all the seasons on DVD and watched the whole series from start to finish! It is a great show!

I am a science fiction nut, my husband says if we had the Sci-Fi channel he would never see me. This was a great series, it is ashamed that it did not spin off into another show. There are two few shows that are cultivating the imagination along with telling a story that implements right and wrong. It showed a lot of things right with the youth of today, and some of the possibilities of the future with imagination and tenacity. I loved the dynamics of the family structure, some good, some bad. How to deal and not deal with stressful situations. The characters were not just some unrealistic kids, but had dept and intelligence. Great show.

I love this series. Wish there were more than 3 seasons to the collection. The first season is my favorite. I loved the show when it was on television in 1999 and would have bought this DVD sooner if I had known it was out on DVD.

The show starts out describing the life and death of one of the main characters in the show. It picks up speed and starts getting the viewer hooked as the episodes continue. The description states the show is for teenage viewers, but I am older and enjoyed the show very much. Season 2 and 3 continue the suspense to the final climax of the shows ending. Great viewing for the price!

Roswell was a great t.v. show. Every actor played their part perfectly. The love stories were really great. My favorite characters are Max and Liz.

This is a great series! I have only seen it from time to time but I enjoyed it. This was the chance to see it all right in a row and get a better understanding of the show. I already have season two on its way!!! It is an interesting premise, aliens, of sorts, going to school with your kids! At least they are nice aliens!!! My daughter grabbed these DVD's from me before I got them into the house, she got to see them first, OF COURSE! You can't fight off a teenager that likes something. Overall, a great watch!!

I NEVER GOT THIS ITEM NOR HAVE I HEARD FROM THE SELLER AFTER NUMEROUS EMAILS TO HER. I HAVE STARTED A DISPUTE BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN ALMOST 2 MONTHS SINCE I BOUGHT THIS ITEM. I EVEN GAVE HER A POSITIVE COMMENT AND I AM PI$$ED ABOUT NOT GETTING THIS. I LOVED ROSWELL WHEN IT WAS ON THE AIR AND I AM UPSET ABOUT NOT RECEIVING THIS.
