I asked for this one. After reviewing Garth Brooks' CD, The Chase, the word got out on the rally and now the entity is wise to me. Garth Brooks will not rest until ALL who join the brigade are destroyed. I apologize to all that were innocently roped into the fight. Do not let Garth Brooks win this battle, fight for a free earth. There is no place safe to hide from Garth Brooks, he is a tracking and killing machine. The only thing that can ease my mind now is the thought that Garth Brooks reign may soon be haulted. Do not let him win this round, continue the struggle for the survival of peace.
I love Garth Brooks and by buying this CD on Ebay I paid less for it even buying it used from a music store and I prefer to purchase from individuals ver retail establishments. The CD plays perfectly and I am thrilled with my purchase.
This was my first e-bay experience and at first I did not get my product when I thought it should be to my home. Because of my nervousness I e-mailed her to ask about the product and she said she would send me another one right away and she did. I was very please with the sale of this product.

Pros: The River, Garth's voice, fun songs, Country music!
Cons: The River starts out too quiet...very small con, a little too twangy at times.
I don t often write music reviews, but my second daughter is moving and gave me her collection of Garth Brooks CD s. What a wonderful gift! I have to admit, I love Garth and country music. I sure wish he was still putting new CD's out. Maybe someday. One of my favorite songs is The River so the first CD, of the ones that she gave me, that I popped into my CD player was Ropin The Wind. It starts out with a rather fast and uplifting song Against the Grain (2:20) which sings about not just accepting things. About meeting confrontation head on and going against the grain. The sounds of the guitar.

You'll feel like you were born at a rodeo..

Pros: Fun Garth Brooks, a good way to enjoy a weekend or a road trip.
Cons: At times too country, too twangy, not always good for the non-country listeners.
Ropin' The Wind, Garth Brook's 3rd album was his strong follow-up to his VERY strong 2nd Album, No Fences. I grew up listening to Garth Brooks, and these songs are a part of my soul. Here's a song-by-song breakdown Against the Grain - A great song about being different and following your path. Slightly weak compared to the other songs on the album, but in typical Garth-Brooks fashion, he is not revealing all his gems right away. Rodeo - A tragic and intense love-letter to the Rodeo. The song displays the passion that these cowboys have for their favorite past-time, and how nothing else...

"I will Sail My Vessel"

Pros: Lots of energy, and back to classic country
Cons: Too much emotion at times.
By the end of 1990, Garth Brooks would be one of the most known names in music, Country or otherwise. Using a Rock and Roll style of Country Music, Garth would bring a new style, and the fans were digging it up. His "No Fences" album would go to the top of the charts, and eventually go diamond. There would be wonders, would the Third album fail, after a non-existant Sophomore Slump? We start off with a 2:20 very short song about going "Against The Grain", something that I often do. "You gotta listen to your heart" That's what I do now more than ever after listening to this song. "Rodeo"...

The album that turned me on to country music.

Pros: Packed with great songs.
Cons: None that I can think of.
I've been a rocker since I was very young. I liked all types of harder rock. I had never bothered with country music, as it reminded me of my mother's music from when I was growing up. She would listen to Jim Reeves, Connie Francis, Hank Williams and such. I didn't mind her music, it was just that it wasn't my thing. Around comes Christmas of 1998. My girlfriend's sister buys me some Garth Brooks album entitled "Ropin' The Wind". I think to myself, "What is this?" I decided to give it a try, and I'm glad that I did! This is one amazing album. I can't think of one song that I dislike at all....
