Robbie Robertson has an amazing voice! He sings these songs with such passion and personality. Somewhere Down The Crazy River is enough to buy the cd. He tells stories in his songs. They have meaning and do not just repeat the chorus. If you like ballad rock--not as political as U2--but sincere like them--try this cd--it is a pleasurable listening experience!

Great CD
) Have been looking for this CD for several years. This is a great CD with great sound, a real favorite of mine, I actually bought 2 of these CD's 1 for my Truck and 1 for my Wifes so I could listen to it in which ever vehicle I'm in.

Not the Band but still goodThis is a worthwhile collaboration with Daniel Lanois. If you are looking for the Band it is not here but still worth the listen.
