This is based at Ithaca where Tom Green is giving a tour to parents and potential college students. He tells the story of Josh so this will give reason to attend Ithaca. Josh sleeps with a girl and has it video taped, his friends accidentally mail the wrong tape and so the ROAD TRIP begins where they go to try and retrieve this video tape in their blue ford taurus. Good movie to rent.

Stupid Things People Do for Love!!!

We all do stupid things in college, like trying to date cross country. This is a funny movie about friends driving cross country to save one of these relationships. This is a story about finding yourself along the way, standing up for yourself, & learning how to undermine authority. Tom Green plays one of the stupidest characters ever but he still ends up being funny. Great cast & characters. Lots of surprises along the trip. Very Funny movie!!! Must see. 4/5

The Wheels On The Car Go Boom Boom Boom-Road Trip

Pros:
Some laughs. Tom Green isn't in it much.

Cons:
Not much to it but the easy laughs. Tom Green is in it at all.

Todd Phillips directs this movie that for some reason had an advertising campaign that jammed Tom Green down your throat. Phillips has generally produced and directed, and occasionally written the movies he has been associated with. He has graced us with such movies as Bittersweet Motel, Frat House, and Screwed, in one role or another. You can even catch a glimpse of him in Road Trip as the guy on the bus with the foot fetish. Hooray. That this movie tried to play up the role of Tom Green to such an extent is an amazing statement about today s movies, comedies, and audiences. Actually, that...

Pros:
Great cast, very funny

Cons:
None!

Summer break is practically upon us. Schools are finishing up, students are preparing for or taking finals. With many students getting ready to enroll in higher learning, while others are just beginning to adjust to college life, what better time is it for a movie about a great American college tradition - the road trip? Road Trip stars a bunch of people you will recognize, but very few who are yet household names. The most famous member of the cast is Tom Green, of MTV. Although several cast members are relatively unknown, they were all perfect for their characters. The movie opens with Tom..

Pros:
tom green, isolated moments of humor

Cons:
cliches, feeling we've seen all this before

Tom Green is a funny, funny man. If any doubts remained as to whether he could parlay his own unique style of speech and comedy into a mainstream film, Road Trip happily ends them. He can, he does, and he will probably continue to, based on the early success of the film. So, in that sense, Road Trip is not entirely a waste. It has its moments, as all crude teen sex comedies will, but it fails to rise above these isolated moments and become a cohesively humorous picture, instead settling on an uneven comedic pace that wears out its welcome whenever Tom Green is not on the screen. The story...

Pros:
Grandpa Manilow and that dog, Tom Green's weird humor, watching Amy Smart on my TV

Cons:
Does American Pie come to anyone's mind?

I hope all you guys in the Epinions community had an extremely merry Christmas and I hope y'all got to open many presents! Christmas is the most wonderful time in the year! Let's see. I got a sweatshirt, a cool cap, a scarf, a pen, earphones, a set of towels... ARGH! What in the blue hell am I doing?! Sorry guys, I completely forgot that I was supposed to be writing a movie review here, but I still hope you had a great Christmas! Anyway, my brother got this movie, Road Trip, on VCD during the Yuletide season last year. Before I started watching the movie, I had heard mixed opinions on the...

Pros:
quadra-lingual adventurism

Cons:
Tom Green is underused

Road Trip was marketed a heavy bit by the presence of Tom Green in the cast. At the time, Green was enjoying his peak in popularity, and the makers of RT wisely decided to bank off that. So here we have Green in his theatrical advertisement of Road Trip, playing the main role and providing one of the selling-point scenes of the film, which is him placing a live rodent in his mouth. Now, this undoubtedly peaked the attention of gross-out fans, like myself, and so the movie made a ton at the box office. It's a little puzzling then, how Green is so under-utilized in this movie. Yeah, he's a part.
