In this final version, Road Rash III, for the Sega Genesis you are able to upgrade you motorcycle. Also, the weapon you collected from a previous will be carried over to the next race. This version runs smoothly and is a lot of fun, like the previous titles. Game control and button layout are excellent, as usual. This version seems like it pushes the Sega Genesis to its technical limits by adding advanced traffic, new road blocks, ramps, weaponry, and updated graphics compared to the original Road Rash. As you advance in the game the races become more diffcult in a nice steady pace. Music is not as good as previous two Road Rash games. All in all, its a great fun game that anyone can learn to play. 9/10
This is one of the best games of all time if you like to go fast and beat people up then this game is right up your ally I LOVE IT please make more road rashes god
Best Road Rash game made to date. Especially fun when play 2-player split screen. Great police cahses that can be ended by beating a cop off a bike! Different levels, upgrade to different speed bikes, and all while swinging away at others. Classic game well worth the minute fraction that games cost nowadays. If you own a Sega Genesis, this should be part of your library, without a doubt.

The Road Rash series brought violence and a totally different concept to racing when it was introduced to the Sega Genesis in the early nineties. The original Road Rash was a testing ground for the folks at Electronic Arts. The racing engine was a bit loose and some elements needed fine-tuning. The sequel saw greater improvements in graphics and gameplay. But the third installment, released in May of 1995, finally ironed out all the kinks.
