I bought the book as a gift for a young friend who always has a Nora Roberts book started, half-finished, or close at hand. I thought she might enjoy comparing a 1999 example of Roberts' work to what she's writing now. She tells me she's enjoying it very much!

I really loved this book, I never wanted to put it down. You think you have it figured out and then you realize you don't. I really enjoyed the storyline and the characters in this book. Nora Roberts once again did a really good job.

From the moment I opened the book, I had an extremely difficult time putting it down. Nora Roberts has done an excellent job in introducing the characters in a way that makes you feel like you actually know them. The book is filled with emotional twists and turns and tells a perfect story of murder, passion, and close family bonds. Surprisingly to me, it's one of the best books I've ever read. Easy to follow, suspensful... you won't want to put it down. You'll want to keep reading to find out what's happening on the next page.
