Robert Kiyosaki has put it clearer than anyone else for those just getting started how to understand the basics of wealth creation. The public education system in this country does not teach this, and the information on learning this has not been accessible to the average joe until now.

this book is not like anything you would expect i thought the book was going to be facts and facts only but it is about a boy who grows up with two fathers and the book relates to things that anyone could understand it is a truly amazing book

I highly reccomend this book for those who are tired of working and are always broke. When you read this book you will see the differences in the financial teachings that Richard Kiyosaki's father and mentor-father taught him. Your thinking about finances will change and you will begin to create ways to have money work for you instead of working for money.

If you follow the steps suggested in this book, your life will change in a positive way.

I heard a lot about this book and wanted to know if there was some information in it that I should pass on to my sons. It is not a well written book, a bit repetitive. It has some excellent basic advice about personnal finance (difference between assets and liabilities, consumer debt, for exemple) but other things are over the top. It is also a way to push the sale of his other tapes, seminars and what not. Overall, it was entertaining and inspiring but did not measure up to all the hype surrounding it.

I love this book. My boyfriend recommended it to me,and was wanting a copy, so I bought it. This book really opens your eyes to what money can really do for you, and that you don't have to be a slave to a paycheck for the rest of your life. It is very motivational and inspiring. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants the financial freedom to do whatever they want with their lives.

This is one of the best books I've ever read. Best financial book that I've ever had also. Kiyosaki's common sense approach and vernacular make it an easy read for everyone. I had borrowed it from the library and enjoyed it so much, I wanted my own copy, which I was very satified with.

The principles underlying this book are very good. Understanding the difference between assets and liabilities is essential, and the importance of financial intelligence cannot be emphasized enough in today's culture. This book provides a good motivational starting point for starting to formulate personal financial goals.

A key word here is motivational. The book is an easy, fun read, but if you're looking for details, you're going to have to think for yourself. A key point made in the book is that there is no standard, one size fits all method for generation of wealth. One of the keys is financial intelligence, and that is gained by educating yourself, a part of which is trying things for yourself. My main complaint about this book is that it lacked anything beyond motivational rhetoric.

I recommend this book if you're looking for a light, motivational read.

This book is easy to understand and can be read in a short amount of time. It has interesting stories that make you smile as well as teach you principles needed to have a healthy attitude about wealth.
Wish I would have read this 30 years ago. Mr. Kiyosaki does not tell you what you should do , however he points you in the direction by having you look at yourself and the thought process of the poor dad and the rich dad, and how they differ. Read this book.

I really liked this book for the insight that it gave me into several areas of finance that I knew almost nothing about. It is very thought provoking and will make you consider things you may not have. I bought the book at the reccommendation of a friend and was not dissapointed. In an effort to make my money work better for me I have been reading a lot of financial books. Before I read this book my absolute goal was to buy a house regardless. This book made me stop and think about things that I have not thought of in that area. I was of the opinion( like a lot of people I'm sure) that your home was your biggest asset. This book made me see that if your home is costing you money then it is infact not an asset but a liability. I stopped and really looked at my financial situation and realized that at this moment buying a home was not the best decision for me and that I needed to learn far more than I know right now in order for homebuying to not be a huge strain on my pocketbook. I would reccommend this book to anyone who is not absolutely on top of financial matters and how to make their money work for them to the best advantage. It will enlighten you to matters that, like me, you may not have ever thought about. It will help you look at money in a different light. It offers helpful suggestions of how to make your money work for you instead of you working for your money.When your pocketbook is not all that it should and could be this book will help.I also agree with the author that the majority of us are not taught what we really need to know about finances in school and sadly we are not taught at home because our parents probably did not know either.It shows you a totally different way of looking at your finances that will truly make you stop and think about all you do not know.I remember saying so many times throughout the book "I didn't know that".This book is very thought provoking and informational. I highly reccommend this book.

I am a very critical person when it comes to reviews but this by far is an excellent book! The author, in a way, almost teaches patience as you read this book. He does take a little bit to get directly to his points but he give you real life examples you can understand.

After reading this book, it changed my outlook and train of thought for my future. Robert talks a lot about "the rat race" that we all are stuck in and he opens our eyes to the possiblity of obtaining financial freedom. A lot of his ideas are not popular ones and sometimes appear to come from left field, but it gives you an idea how the wealthy think. I sorry, but he is right, they do not teach any of this to kids or even adults throughout their
schooling.

The only negative feature is he is not very detailed on how he directly obtained his wealth. He does promote his other books, his games, and his recommended books.

This book is very motivating, I highly recommend it, and look forward to reading more of his books! I am also looking into obtaining his games.

This book talks about how one can get out of the rat race by investing constantly and prudently over a long period of time so that we can accumulate a constant stream of passive income. After achieving the level of passive income that we desired, we can 'retire' and stop working. This book also talks about how we can invest in multiple different invest instruments that will diversify our portfolio and lower the risk of making a loss.

This is a great book about the concepts of money and an insight into how the rich and the poor manages cashflow. It also explains what is the difference between active and passive income, assets and liabilities and why financial freedom is what everyone ought to be aiming for.
A highly recommended entry level financial book to anyone who wants to be truly financially free by making your money work hard for you and not you working hard for money.

I purchased this book as a gift for a young man just beginning his journey into adulthood and thought it would be great advyce for someone starting out.

The book was in good condition, but had an inscription in the front. The price was fair, shipping was fair priced.

I first read this book when I was in 7th grade. I was never much of a kid to sit down and read but after the first few pages I was hooked. After I finished the book I started seeing the world differently and decided business was exactly what I wanted to do in life. Now I am a Freshman in College and I recently reread Rich Dad Poor Dad. Again I was filled with excited and affirmation after reading this book. I would say 9 out of 10 people could benefit from reading this book. Not one to miss. It can make a world of difference in your life.

I was already familiar with this book. Just wanted additional copies for friends and family. There is nothing about the book to dislike. It is an excellent book that every human being ought to read, without exception.

I bought Rich dad, Poor dad because i am currently taking a Finances course and this book was highly recommended. Plus, purchasing it on ebay was cheaper and more conveninent for me. thee book is in good condition.
