I was very sceptical but after reviewing the video and some research have decided this is the most awesome thing ever.

THIS WAS A REALLY COOL SHOOTER SO I'M GLAD A BOUGHT IT. KIND OF A RAD COMBINATION BETWEEN A MEDAL OF HONOR TITLE AND DOOM. IN THE GAME YOU STEP IN THE SHOES OF A WWII COVERT FIELD OPERATIVE SENT TO VARIOUS LOCATIONS TO DISRUPT THE NAZI WAR MACHINE. WHAT MAKES THIS REALLY DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHER WWII SHOOTERS (CALL OF DUTY FOR EXAMPLE) IS THAT THE NAZIS ARE DABBLING IN THE OCCULT AND MAD SCIENCE TO SHIFT THE BALANCE OF POWER IN THEIR FAVOR. SO BESIDES YOUR USUAL NAZI ENEMIES YOU ALSO EVENTUALLY FACE SOME REALLY FEARSOME ENEMIES STRAIGHT OUT OF HORROR-LACED SCIENCE FICTION.
THE GAME DOES TEND TO BE CHALLENGING WHICH IS WHY I'M GLAD ONE CAN SAVE ANYWHERE, ANYTIME SO IF YOU MESS UP DURING GAMEPLAY YOU CAN JUST GO BACK TO THE LAST TIME YOU SAVED. ALSO MOST OF THE LEVELS (ABOUT 30 IN ALL) HAVE SECRETS TO FIND AND YOU CAN ACCULMULATE THESE SECRETS WHICH WOULD BE CONVERTED INTO POINTS WHICH COULD BE REDEEMED TO ACQUIRE UPGRADES LIKE MORE HIT POINTS, MORE ARMOR, CARRY MORE AMMO, ETC. THE A.I. OF YOUR ENEMIES IS ADEQUATE...HUMAN ENEMIES TEND TO TAKE COVER, RETREAT, OR TRY TO FLANK YOU.
I WISH THEY INCLUDED A FEW MORE BOSSES. THERE ARE ONLY THREE INCLUDING THE FINAL BOSS.
IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SUPER COOL IF THEY ADDED SOME SPECIAL BONUS FOR FINDING ALL THE SECRETS/TREASURES WHILE HAVING FINISHED THE GAME ON THE HARDEST MODE ( WHICH IS WHAT I DID) LIKE BEING ABLE TO PLAY WOLFENSTEIN 3-D (THE ORIGINAL VERSION) WHICH IS WHAT I THINK THEY DID FOR THE X-BOX VERSION. WHY WOULDN'T THEY DO THAT HERE? MY GUESS IS THAT DUE TO LISCENSING ISSUES MICROSOFT WAS ABLE TO SECURE THE DEAL EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE X-BOX THUS HAVING SHUT OUT SONY. OH WELL.
OVERALL RETURN TO WOLFENSTEIN... IS A WORTHY GAME AND MAKES A GREAT ADDITION TO ANY FIRST-PERSON SHOOTER'S LIBRARY.

Don't be fooled by the name. Operation Resurrection is just the PS2 version of Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Like the XBOX version (Tides of War), it has a 7 level prologue that wasn't on the PC version. While the Graphics are a lot less detailed than the XBOX version, there are interesting items that are not in the XBOX version (Motorcycles that you can't ride for example). I didn't play the whole game once I realized that it was basically the same as the one I already played on my PC & XBOX, but I'll probably get around to it eventually.

we can't rate this item because we have not yet received it. we won the auction on appx. 4/23/07 & as of this writing, we STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT! this is disappointing,bad business practice,unprofessional & immoral on the part of the seller. please help!

I loved the price for this PS2 game. Was a gift for someone special and I received it very fast, in brand new wrapping and perfect playing condition. I am very pleased with this and all my purchases.
