Resident Evil 4 - Survival Horror at it's best!

I think I'm in love! This is one of my all-time favorite games!

I bought Resident Evil 4 for PS2 the day it came out. I'd read the great reviews for the Gamecube version and expected one of the best Survival Horror games ever made.

Resident Evil 4 delivered. CAPCOM hit the nail on the head with this dynamo of a game. I was blown away immediately at how much easier it is to control the characters in comparison to other Resident Evil games. The graphics are superb for a PS2 game, and the atmosphere the sound and music creates is unbelievable. This game is chock full of bad-*** villians and incredibly cool bosses. I've played through the game 7 times, as well as the mini-games numerous times. Beating the game once on easy is incredibly tough, beating it on Hard is even more challenging. Once you beat the game once you begin to unlock secret weapons, characters, costumes, and mini-games. Overall Resident Evil 4 met and exceeded all my expectations, and I believe it will exceed your expectations as well.

This game is one you must have in your collection. Whether you're a fan of survival horror or not, this game will deliver hours upon hours of fun and excitement. I'd buy two, just in case one gets scratched! Just kidding... but seriously, Buy two!

This game is baller and sh*t. It's got better graphics and whatnot on Gamecube, but other than that it's the same old same old.

This is the best game to ever come out on the PS2. Insanely fun. The graphics are quite beautiful for a PS2 game. Tons of cool weapons. The game is large and it will take many hours to beat.

I would definitely recommend this game to people who are interested in a heavy plot. This game makes you really think and you get very involved. It definitely keeps your attention and you cannot put the controller down even if you try! I am not big on video games. I never even picked up a controller till my ripe age of 26 years and had kids of my own! But this game definitely raked me in and made me addicted to my controller! The only bad thing I have to say about the game is the graphics. The game is obviously not "new" and doesn't have the advanced graphics that the new games have. However for its age.. the graphics are top notch. Despite the lacking graphics I can't say a bad thing about this game!

I decided to buy this game because the first time that I played it I fell in love. I found it to be the best game I've ever played. I was kind of hesitant to buy this game because it is used, however it works as if its brand new.

Resident Evil 4 is the best game yet of the RE series, the graphics are just GREAT and the story line is even better, when I started playiong I just couldn't get my eyes off the TV screen!! it brought back what Resident Evil used to be in a whole, new and better way!!

I like the kind of action and the occaional surprises. The game is more difficult than some of playstations other games.

One of the strongest titles in the Resident Evil series. Very good game. It is the first to feature more of a 3D approach and the graphics are steller. I have bought all of the other Resident Evil games and so this one was a must have.

This game is the best of all Resident Evils. Great graphics, characters, weapons, sounds, everthing!!!!!! This game is simply the best. For starters your playing with the best character ever Leon Kennedy. Second of all the zombies from this game are not the typical zombies from all the other games. They're superhuman!!!!!!! Running, carrying everything from shotguns to chainsaws willing to do everything they can to stop you. The bosses are amazing. Each one as their own personality and behavior. The grapics are realistic and creepy making you feel as if you were there. You may even feel as if your life is theatened. I did. On my scale (The David Fulwood Scale) I give this game an high 8. The only con I feel there is in this game is the enviroment is not that interactive. For example if a skull was sitting on a shelf and you shot it, it would not move. All that is destroyable is barrels, windows and of course zombies. But other that this game rules. This is a good buy

This game had a lot to live up to in my mind - having disliked all Resident Evil games since 1, 2 & 3 for the old PS1 - and let me just start by saying: It did, and in style!

First of all, the graphics are simply amazing, easily one of the top 5 games for the PS2 on that list. Plus the thrill you get while playing it, which is really the main point of games like these, is also incredible! Either your heart is in your throat while peeking around every corner to see where that close-by sound of a zombie is coming from, while the music constantly reminds you that this is no childrens game - Or perhaps you get your thrills from when hordes of extremely well-animated and frightening spanish-speaking zombies are running towards you with pitchforks, knives, axes, maces, and even chainsaws! (oh yes, you read it right)

And then, if you add to this awesome gaming experience, the incredible selection of weapons at your disposal, the well-balanced plot, and the well-known characters for those of us who are fans of the series - you get one of, if not THE, best single player game ever made for this console.

I buys Resident Evil 4 (Playstation 2)it because I have always liked those games and those and played from the first one that came out for the playstation 1 and when I saw it I am interested very much and because she/he buys it and I love since you don't know that to wait for you and the graphs are super.

This is the best RE out there, and also one of the best video games for PS2. There are times you get the crap scared out of you. The ganados are smarter than the zombies, they move faster, carry weapons, and have better AI. The graphics are really good for a PS2 game. You can play this game over and over again, since this version came out with some extra side games the Gamecube version didn't have.
I liked the laser pointer with all the guns too. I also liked how you can upgrade your weapons. The controls are much, much better than the previous RE games. All in all, you should definitely buy this game.
