The Wii edition of this game comes with slightly improved graphics, true 16:9 widescreen and all the extra from the Playstation 2 version. But the biggest change are the improved controls courtesy of the wiimote and Nunchuck, which make capping enemies in the face much easier and more satisying. Is this game family friendly? The Good: Ummm a great port of the best game ever. Great controls. Great and very intense and fitting music. Great and engaging story(if not a little cheesy), a wide assortment of weapons, Upgradable weapons, intense gameplay, a lengthy (but not too lengthy) campaign, great enemies. At 29.99 this game is a STEAL!

The "bad": Graphics are still good, but are two years old so they don't shine like they used to.

The ugly: There are none.

All in all this game is absolutly fantastic! Buy it now, even if you've played it on other consoles, it is definitly worth another look!

This is perhaps the best first person shooter ever made. I love FPS however I hate the dual joystick movements. Now with the Wii it has definitevly resolved this issue. With the Wii you use the numchuck to move around and the Wii remote to aim and shoot. This is a major advancement in FPS. The over the shoulder camera angle works very well. This game offers about 50-60 hrs of original game play with a high level of reply value. Once you own this game you will not want to get rid of it. This game offers puzzles along with the FPS so you have to think and be able to solve puzzles with the clues that have been left. Lots of different weapons to dish of destruction and huge boss battles that will make you cringe and give you nightmares. The only things I didn't like was the limited amount of ammo and having to take care of Ashley while trying to fend off hordes of zombies. But even these very minor dislikes work well. All in all it's one of the greatest games I have ever played and I hope other third party game producers redo other titles like this one for the Wii.

I thoroughly enjoy playing this game. I'm about 12 hours into it and it doesn't seem to bore me yet at all. As a busy father to be you would think I didn't have any time to play video games but Resident Evil 4 has sucked me in. It's innovative use of the Wii remote is fantastic and the game just keeps me sucked in. I've stayed up long nights and the boss thinks it's just stress. Little do they know it's because by the time I know it, it's 1am and I'm still playing the game "just until the next save point".

Get this one, it's a steal at the price it's going for these days.

One of the best games for the Wii

I bought this game because I have been a big fan of all the Resident Evils across the multiple gaming platforms, and this game does not disappoint. I love how the physical interaction of the Wii console has been implemented into the game. It really makes you feel like you are actually in the game. With that being said, it does take a little bit of time to adapt to using the Wii mote and nunchuk controllers. Overall, I would recommend this game especially if you can get it for $20 or less.

the only reason why i am writing more is because it requires 100 words to write a feedback but people come on! if you have no idea what Resident Evil is you might as well hold a Winchester Colt Magnum at your head and pull that f*#!ing trigger because if you still have no idea what a Resident Evil game could do to your life, you have just pass the line between ignorance and stupidity.

I wish the game allowed more than one person to be able to save their separate games independently. It is a single player, one owner game.

This game is just as creepy as the others, but with better interaction. From the moment it starts to the Umbrella Corporations cover ups, you stay like you are actually in the game.
If you are a fan of the Resident Evil Series, you definitely need this game in your collection!

By far the best game I have ever played. It's long, always scary and thrilling, packs lots of action, and will have you up for 36 hours playing it.......IT WILL BLOW ALL YOU VIDEO GAME FANATICS AWAY!!!!!!

The whole family likes to sit down and watch this game being played. It is interactive and also follows a story line. There are many different levels to achieve greatness in this game. Would recommend to anyone who likes the zombie killing style.

This game was great on PS2. On the Wii, it has no rivals. the controls for the wii are a lot easier than on PS2, which I thought would have been hard to top. One of the cool features of this game is the fact that the nunchuck and wii remote give you a better interaction than any other control scheme on any of the other systems. You actually aim with the remote, slash with the nunchuck, and shake the remote when prompted for escapes and actions. I love the reload feature too. All you have to do is shake the remote. I loved this game on PS2, but it is so much better on the wii. Any Resident Evil fans need to get this version. This, and Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles. Two of the best Resident Evil games by far, these are.

now... if you knwo me you knwo how much i despise RE4...and i HATE the wii... but somehow... when they took the same exact game from ps2 and gamecube...and put it together...WOW... 2 wrongs DEFINATLY made a right with re4 for wii... all i can say is GREAT!!!... keep inmind this is comin from a huge re fan who hated the 4th game "why fix what isnt broken" this game is definatly worth having... its definatly worth getting a wii for... (i did...wel that and the umbrella chronicles...which sucked btw)

Wicked game, even better and gnarlier in the first person wii format, and asset to any person who always wanted to fight zombies....fo real.

this game is great for one player. the graphics are nice and the game has a massive adventure along with it!

This was a fun game for the family. One person played while another watched out for zombies. This game had some fun "riddles" to figure out. The dialog was lame, but that was part of the fun too. It was kind of funny how you knew there was a zombie around being you could hear the bongos playing.
This game was good deal for $49.99 because even after you finished it, you could play it again as another character with a different perspective. Plus there were other bonus missions to play. The story line and mystery was very interesting. You really felt like you were a part of that world.

The most frustrating part about the game was the lack of ammo. You were able to buy weapons from a merchant, but not bullets (even though you could clearly see them being displayed next to him). The most common way to obtain ammo was to find them. I wish you could buy ammo.

The navigation was irritating because you can't move while looking at the map. You can't point and click a destination on the map.

But I still love this game. You can kill a snake to get a chicken egg to restore your health. Awesome.

This is one of my favorite games of all time! I've played it on gamecube, ps2, and now own it for Wii. And I have to say that the Wii version is by far the best!!! It is amazing! I love it!
