As a modeller of 40 yrs (I'm currently 47) I grew up during the Golden Years of model making; so when the book Remembering Revell Model Kits by: Thomas Graham came out along with his two other books about the model companies Aurora and Monogram, it was a given that I had to purchase them. Remebering Revell Models was the first one I got via Ebay at a great price; which I might ad is where I purchased the other two model books as well. Most any builder of plastic model kits has at one time or another built a Revell kit, especially those model builders of my generation. Revell offered a wide selection and variety of models in different scales to choose from that were inexpensive and yet accurately detailed for the most part. But the real special feature of Revell kits was the outstanding Box Art these kits had during the 60s & 70s era. Besides building the Revell kit, you could also frame the box art as well. As a matter of fact, the older Revell kits are highly sought after via Ebay, because of the outstanding box art that these models had. The book Remembering Revell Model Kits by: Thomas Graham covers the history of Revell along with color photos depicting the kits and the boxes they came in throughout the years Revell has been in business. This book, along with Mr. Graham's other two model books about Aurora and Monogram, allow the modeller to review & relive the glory days of model building when it was a more popular hobby and pastime AND is a MUST for any modeller's book shelf. If I was to rate Remebering Revell Models on a scale from 1 to 5, I'd give it a 6+. For those interested in finding these books by Thomas Graham at a great price, you can find them here on Ebay along with many of the actual Revell, Aurora, and Monogram models kits depicted in these books as well.
