IF I HAD TO PICK THREE FAVORITE SONGS I WOULD PICK "JOIN ME IN DEATH", "BURY ME DEEP INSIDE YOUR HEART" AND "GONE WITH THE SIN". THESE SONGS ARE SO ROMANTIC, COMBINING METAL, LOVE AND DEATH TOGETHER. WONDERFUL CD, I COULDN'T ASK FOR A BETTER CD!!!!

I love the goth music and the words to the songs are really awesome!!!HIM also does a remake of Chris Issac's "Wicked Game" that is totally amazing!!!!I saw HIM live in June 2006 and they were the most wonderful live show I have seen in years!!!!Tamistuff

Aside from the earlier HIM CDs, (Greatest Lovesongs 666, Deep Shadows & Brilliant Highlights) this album is not as extraordinary, or as uniquely produced, but it is rife with emotion, passion and creative energy.

Dislike: That it is more watered down and mainstreamed but it is NOT as slick, polished, and packaged the as Dark Light is.

This is the 2nd copy of RR I have purchased. I gave the first copy to a friend that loves HIM as much as I (if not more). I bought it initally b/c I was blown away by "Join Me In Death" which is darkly erotic and lovely. I never get tired of hearing that song, and I have been listening to it for years.

I love some songs more than others on this album, but the main thing is that I love them ALL, to different degrees and for different reasons--but how many albums can u say that about? Not many, if any at all.

Perhaps MJ's "Off The Wall" is an example of every track being a good song, but very few to no artists can turn out a cd where every song is enjoyable.
