RCA DRC630N Portable DVD Player

I bought an RCA DRC630N and from the beginning had issues with it. After a few hours play time it stopped working altogether. VERY disappointing product!

Me and the ol' lady love this product very much. The only bad thing is that the wires are cluttered up when both screens are connected. Another bad thing we noticed a few times is that the screens would shut off while the movie was being played. Other then that, it is a really good dual dvd system. What I like about the system is that when the movie is playing, and I would have to stop somewhere and shut off the vehicle, when I would come back and start up the system again, it would start off where the movie was last played at. Good thing I never had to start it over and fast forward or go to scene selections. We bought this system for our road trips to San Diego and Albuquerque(if that's how you spell it). Overall, I give an 8.5 out of 10 stars!

I needed two screen DVD player because we have three children. After one use the second screen does not get a picture any longer. I did not purchase the warranty so I am still pursuing how to have unit repaired.

Item is scratched a lot and even after asking MANY times seller refuses to give me the warranty that is promised in the ad.

Easy to set up in car. The kids were able to use it without any problem. They loved the games that came with the unit. We would highly recommend!

I bought this for our trip to Disney World and it worked great. The kids really enjoyed watching movies on the road and in our hotel room. I also used it as a moniter for reviewing what I had shot each day on my digital video camera. I also used to to look at still photos I took with my digital camera. The only down side I found was that there was no remote control with this unit.

ever since i recieved the dvd players my dvds freeze up or skip over parts...i thought it was from my old movies but i bought new ones and they do it too....i would love to exchange them for another..thank you,Tara

I can honestly say I would recommend it to anyone who has kids and they travel alot. There is no extra dvd player that has to be hooked up the dvd player is in the back of the main screen. I love the fact that it came with a controller for a game that can be played even though the other screen is playing a movie.

grandchildren love it. Was a gift for their birthdays. We travel alot so it will come in handy when we do. Also the children go camping with us so they will be able to use it then also.

I like the fact that the main unit does not have a swivel screen. I have had one of these before and it was broken in less than a month due to wires breaking. This unit simply flips open. Less chance for breakage. The picture quality is great and if you choose not to use head phones, the sound is loud enough to hear over the car. It is great that it comes with a game controller with built in games, but the games are extremely simplistic and the graphics are somewhat poor. My 5 year old enjoyed them quite a bit, but my 13 year old was a little disappointed and lost interest quickly. Overall though, it is still great value for the money though because it is a good quality product, and keeps the kids occupied during long road trips. I do recommend this product to parents who are looking for a durable dvd system for the car for their kids.

This dual portable DVD player allows each child to view their own screen - no more fighting over one! Great picture & color quality. I'm a grandma of 10 who wanted to have a DVD player in both of cars. One of our cars has a built-in DVD player. This new Dual DVD player is for the other car. It came with everything I need - including the strap to hand each unit on the back of the front seat. We love it!

This is a great dvd player. It is very secure when mounted on the headrests unlike my last player. The picture is clear with great color. The sound is good also. The only drawback is that there are no instructions for the games. There are 30 games which is great but the kids are having a hard time figuring out how to play them. Instructions would have really helped. I would recommend this portable dvd player to my friends and family.

I purchased this item for my children. It has turned out to be the best thing yet. It has a great picture, even during the day. Very versitable and easy to operate. It doesn't skip when you hit bumps and the games is an added bonus. The only improvement could be louder sound quality but that may be the movies. All in all it's been a great product for a good price!

So far, it seems to serve the purpose of entertaining the children. We've only used it once since having it. The main monitor plays great, however, the second monitor's not as clear as the main. The second monitor is also a little glitchy as you touch the wires or controls. I guess I'll just settle with it as long as it is at least playing.
Also, the unit didn't come as "new looking" as I had imagined.

Well I bidded for the product I thought it was a great deal. But I was mistaken when I went to try my item in the car it didn't function at all. I have emailed the seller, but their is no response. Very disappointed and sad!!!

Bought these for the car. One boy had turned to two and we needed a new dual car system. This is EXTREMELY easy to install, hook up, and even to remove / replace while in transit!!
Downfalls are that it only plays the same video on both, it is not airplane accessible as it needs to be plugged in to a power source at all times, and also on the main unit the earphone cable sits under and between the cable that joins the two units so that only a certain headphone plug in will fit. We knew all the downfalls before purchasing this unit ,but it serves our needs and we are pleased with this purchase!

Nice unit, very easy to hook up w/cables. The games and controller are pretty cheap. But overall kids like it and it works good so far.

We purchased these because they had dual screens. We only had 1 screen previously. The picture quality is good but moving down the road at 65mph you can barely hear the sound.The kids always had to use earphones which they dont care for. I had to purchase a splitter for $3.00 so we could use 3 earphones. I am not sure yet if I can purchase equipment that would allow the sound to play through my car speakers. The games are great for the kids they love them. We went to Florida on spring break and these units were a lifesaver. We did have a few times when the screen went blank and we had to start the movie over. I am not sure yet what that was about. I hope that the screens do not go blank often.It has the shock protection in it, maybe I need to turn it on or something. We are pleased with our purchase and plan on using it daily.

Really great DVD system. I have a 5 yr old and a 2 yr old and they watched on a trip for 15 hours. It worked great. The gaming system is a little too advanced for them but there are a few games they can play. They watch it every morning on their way to school/day care too. It is a life saver.

I like the way the screens attach to the headrest with the mounting pads. Nice picture. Compared to other dvd players I've had, this one is a lot nicer. Like the games that is with the player.

THIS FAR EXCEEDED WHAT I EXPECTED. MUCH NICER QUALITY THAN I EXPECTED FOR THE PRICE. I WAS ABLE TO EASLY HOOK IT UP TO MY LARGE FLAT SCREEN TV AND USED IT AS A DVD PLAYER BEFORE MY REGULAR ONE WAS UNPACKED. IT WORKED GREAT!WHAT A GREAT THING TO HAVE AROUND IN CASE ONES DVD PLAYER WAS TO EVER BREAK DOWN. THE TWO PLAYERS AND ALL THE EXTRAS FIT NICELY IN ITS STORAGE BAG FOR TRAVELING. I AM CONSIDERING ORDERING MORE NOW TO PUT BACK FOR PRESENTS IN THE YEAR AHEAD. IT'S SO NICE AND HANDY I'D LIKE TO GIVE ALL MY FAMILY & FRIENDS ONE.

I have taken a few roadtrips with the player now and it has worked very well.
It has never skipped so far and I really like the way it starts the movie at the point were it was turned off. I have had no problems with the player and would recommed this product to anyone.
