Fun! Even though it's an old original Gameboy game (monochrome). The play remains true to the original Arcade version. Actually, it has a few different playing field layouts that are not in the Arcade version. The need to move Q*Bert diagonally takes some getting use to. But, you can configure him to jump correctly just using the up-down-left-right keys. I would recommend this game to anyone who is/was a big fan of Q*bert back in the day...

Has there ever been a cooler looking video game character than Q*Bert? This arcade classic has been brought to the Game Boy Color in a great way. If you remember the classic arcade game where Q-Bert sought to turn the whole game screen to a certain color while being attacked by a pink coiled snake and multi-colored balls you're going to love this one! The game objective is rather simple. Have Q-bert jump on every square on a game board and when he does so it turns the square to a certain color, after the whole screen is the objective color, you move on to the next board.
