Pros: The entire Dark Side of the Moon album
Cons: Yes....they do miss Roger Waters
If you are a Pink Floyd purist, you probably ignore this live collection because there is no Roger Waters on it. Yes he is one of the co-founders and major songwriter for this group but his departure from the band in no way diminishes the achievements of the other members. This album proves that Floyd can rock with or without him. Pulse is a two CD set of live recordings from the 1994 European tour. Pros: Live Pink Floyd, neat little booklet
Cons: Which album do you buy?
The real problem for me buying a Pink Floyd album was which one to get. They all seemed to cost $30 or more, and many have overlapping songs. To top it off, I'm not the world's biggest Pink Floyd fan, so I had to buy something that incorporated just about everything. Enter Pulse. Oh it was tough. I had "The Wall" in one hand and "Pulse" in the other. The sweat rolled off my forehead. The Best Buy people gave me strange looks. After hours of deliberation, the verdict was in. I gingerly placed "The Wall" back in its proper receptacle and walked away with my new album. I'm glad I did. Pulse had..
