Project Gotham Racing 3 (Xbox 360)

Project Gotham Racing 3 for Xbox 360 will be a favorite for two types of people:

1. Die hard racing fans.
2. Anyone for the first 2 weeks.

The problem is, as with most racing games, that Project Gotham Racing 3 falls short of actual gameplay. It is interesting to purchase new cars, and move up the ranks as a racer. However, substance is lacking.

What makes up for substance is the amazing graphics. I was absolutely stunned. In most video game commercials we see computerized, close-up videos of action that is not actually "action". In PGR3, the graphics really ARE that good. If you're T.V. is big enough and your surround sound is efficient, you are going to think you are really there.

Xbox Live compatible and it is always nice to beat your friends in a little friendly street racing (of course, not in real life!).

If you're a racing fan buy it. If you aren't a racing fan, buy it, play the heck out of it for a month and then sell it on Ebay while the game is still hot!

The product came to me with a broken nose piece. The seller was excellent as far as wanting to replace them, but my time and the price of shipping is not worth it. I would not buy these glasses.

I figured out why this game was under $3. It is terrible, impossible and super difficult to use. I would avoid this.

I've written this member 3 times and haven't received an answer. If the feedback system is what eBay works with then feedback is supposed to be the know all tell all. Just got the game and played a little yesterday. Game is great so far. In great shape for a used game. Looking forward to extended game play for just a few bucks. Good deal.

i looked up info on this game before i got it but the info kinda makes you think twice even though most people are currently playing pGR4 i got 3 be 4 i get 4 any way its a great game looks good sounds good and is really fun to play i told my GF i would only play 30mins but ended up playing for 1 hour she likes the sountrack if you have not played this game or PGR4 try it.

One of the best racing games on the 360 today. The 4th edition of this game is out on the market though. It is actually a lot better though. Wise investment if you're into racing games!

The scenary is good and the graphics are great. The gameplay is not quite as good as Forza 2. There is no way to change the perspective of the driver. The Kudos point system is kinda lame. It is a fun game, but...

It's dumb dumb munky boy writer again. I speak in plain everyday stupid English so I hope you like my reveiw:
PGR3, what should I say. It's pleasant. It's a racing game. It's nothing special. Forza 2 has it beat. Graphics aren't bad but Forza 2's are better I think. I'd rather look at Forza 2. This game does start you out with a Atom(it's a concept car-like structure with a 300HP rear molded engine give or take Honda engine with extreme handling). Very cool. Slightly awkward music what's that some symphany? Eh, no problem, I need to catch up on my symphony ,however you spell it, anyway...
I don't get what the big deal is with PGR games. So hyped out but why? It's like a stripped Forza 2 clone. Stripped meaning not as many upgrades, not the great in depthy-ness driving characteristics. Not really set up for racing. It's just riding through territories with no major object. I mean if you like beating times and doing little this n that missions with enough feel of gameplay to keep you going it's all good. I feel like it's just an average game as is the whole series to me. But look, I bought, strange huh? $8 I paid, is my defense. Gives me a way to waste time if I ever want to drive around cones.

I really like that there are more makes and models of cars. Overall the driving experience was good, not quite as good as Forza, but still good. I like the variety of tracks. The 'ring is still my favorite. I didn't like the new menu. I liked the old menu better. It was easier to see which events you needed to improve upon to get those kudos. I also didn't like that they eliminated the lower end cars and the classic muscle cars. Still a good game though and I am glad I bought it.

Very realistic scenery and tracks. Awesome simulation of the driving experience...best with a driving wheel and pedals. I tried it with the handheld controller and it was very difficult. Lots of fast cars to choose from.

Decided to buy it because it was cheap. The game has great graphics and great cars. The only downside is that it takes a really long time to load levels. The game can become really addictive so be careful.

The graphics are great and very realistic. Driving action is fun and very well simulated and options are plenty. Features of the game and options to personalize cars is a lot of fun and race tracks are improved.

The game PRG 3 was a game that i've been wanting to play for quite some time. I won the bidding at an incredible price and was actually quite impressed by the short amount of time it took for me to receive the game. When it came it was in great condition, not a scratch or anything at all. Thanks

PGR offers a perfect mix of sim and arcade. The game offers great racing physics, while at the same time, it is forgiving enough for those not quite in the mood for a true sim (e.g. Forza 2). The online mode offers a ton of racing options, but really shines with the tournaments. Put in the laps to qualify for a tourney and get ready to feel the adreline rush!

If you're into fast cars and fast paced driving, this is the game for you! Bizarre Creations took an intresting approach to the racing genre with a game the blends realistic physics with a dash of arcade racing. The game still requires you to take a good racing line in order to be fast, however there are a lot of assists to help you maintain control in most situations, making you feel like you're in total control. The game has a decent number of cars, about 80. Mainly high class exotics, there's only one real muscle car which I wish they changed, but what can you do, but hey this is one of the few games that has the McLaren F1 LM road car! The awesome thing about this game is all the cars in the game are capable of having a top speed of AT LEAST 170MPH. The down side is you can not customize them, besides changing the colour of the paint. The main advantage of this is it keeps a level playing field in the online mode, so it's really down to picking a car that suits your driving style and your true skill. You'll find that the solo career mode is great for unlocking achievements but some of the challenges are pretty redundant. Hot lap, timed lap and even breakthrough are pretty much the same challenge mode, except in one the clock counts up and in the other the clock counts down. After you beat the solo career you'll probably find yourself on online career most of the time. This is where you challenge the best in the world and work your way up. You have a true skill ranking which is assesed by your performance in each rank letting other players know your relative driving skill, then you have a world rank which you progress through as you win races or do well against higher ranked opponents. Just like in Halo 2's ranking system your world rank goes up and down depending on your performance, your kudos ranking however keeps on climbing since you can't lose kudos. If you got an XBOX 360 and you're into driving games, you gotta pick this one up.

I like it as a racing sim, but it gets stale without some arcade style excitement. I disliked that the major tricks were so hard to pull off as a newbie. I purchased it on some else's recommendation that they later recanted, and left me stuck with a game that was not at all as much fun as other racing games.

Project gotham racing is a very good game. It is more of a Race Fan game that will be playing for hours and hours to get the money to buy a new car. Well it comes from the idea of grand turismo ill say. it is not a bad game. Graphics are stunning but eventually as you play the game will get boring because all you do is race... get money.. buy cars.

I've never spent more than 10 hours on a racing game but this one I spent well over 50 hours with. Great graphics, great gameplay, great replayability, and great online play. A must have for 360 owners!

I give this game a 4/5 stars. The graphics are awesome and gameplay is great. It could use some work but it is definitely worth buying if you can get it under 20 bucks.
