The screen itself is excellent; but the cables where to short and the 15pin VGA cable continued to malfunction. I have since borrowed a longer power cord and VGA cable and the screen works perfectly now.

I really haven't opened the package, it seems fine n the outside! Sorry, I can't tell you much more, that is all I know!

the monitor itself is great. The images are clear and crisp, however the built in speakers are really bad in sound quality and volume! I am using my external speakers instead. I don't game so I can't evaluate the sped of motion on the monitor.

I bought this monitor for $189 used b/c i am working from home now and am on the computer a lot. It's a really nice size (21 inches). The color, quality, and 'graphics' are sharp. It has been PERFECT except for.....

The only reason i would rate this average instead of excellent is b/c a few weeks after I had been using it, all-of-a-sudden I've had trouble getting the picture on the monitor to work. It would be blank, black, with the monitor on. Whenever the monitor is turned off, or i restart/shutdown my computer (which i do every night) the monitor has a blank black screen when it should have a picture. I've tried turning it off and on again, rebooting my computer, etc. It takes SEVERAL tries of these combinations to finally get the picture to come up. When it's up, it's cherry. It's just getting it to work that's a pain. So now, i've resorted to turning my computer off/restarting it only a couple times a week instead of every night. Whether this is a unique problem or a one these models are known for, i don't know. I love it other than that.
