When Walt Disney ran the company, he knew each of his employees by name. He took a hands-on approach to all of the projects on the lot. His influence was so strong, that decades after his passing (in 1966), some said WDP was being run by a dead man. As we celebrate the 100th anniversary of his birth, we can be glad that he took his mission so seriously. He left a legacy that is a monument to family, kindness, animals, and love. And if sometimes he was mercenary (no one wins a lawsuit against Disney, just ask Annette), his business sense was coupled with a finger on the pulse of America. His...
