Pokemon Colosseum (Game Cube)

I bought this because my son wanted it. He actually saved up and paid for it himself which was no easy feat. He plays it on the weekends only and can't wait for Friday night to come around! On the off days he talks about it nonstop which drives his sister crazy. I don't quite understand the game but I guess it's innocuous enough. the graphics and music seem good. You do "battles" but instead of actually pushing buttons to hit or defend yourself, you just pick the moves out ahead of time and then the screen shows you how the "battle" unfolds based on your picks. The loser creatures faints and has to go to pokemon hospital so while it is a little violent, nobody dies and there isn't blood or anything. If you're looking for a gamecube game which is not violent at all, my daughter loves Animal Crossing which has cute animals and you decorate your little house. I actually prefer that one but I'm sure most prepubescent boys would get bored with animal crossing (but not pokemon colosseum). Hope this helps if anyone is deciding whether or not to purchase the game.

I like it. My children waited to play the game. They sent very fast. So, my children can play the game unless waiting too long. Everything is good for me.

The graphics on this game are great for its time... My son loves playing it, the battle system is very easy to learn. Once you learn the in's and out's of the games and the tricks to getting further its a lot of fun...it's really neat to see the cards come to life and some you the favorite pokemon take on a life of their own...Overall this game is great for kids. :)

I bought a Pokemon Colloseum video game for the gamecube for my 2 sons about 6 days back.
I decided to place a bid on it because it was 50 percent cheaper then market price
and my sons are really into Pokemon. My sons really liked this game but it takes a lot of blocks from the memory card. This game features a decent story mode which is supposed to be like the 3d Pokemon advance series. It also has a duel mode where you can fight with other computer Pokemon trainers or upload your Pokemon from your Pokemon Sapphire or Pokemon Ruby on the Gameboy Advance using a link cable . Overall I would give this game a 8/10. Great game.

This is not your average Pokemon title. From the get-go you will find out that this game is a look into the darker, more mature side of Pokemon. This doesn't mean the game is bad for your kids. They will likely enjoy it; but I'm just warning that the game is very challenging! You begin the game playing as a tough-looking vandal trainer with a pollutive motor bike that could fall an entire forest of trees. He soon meets a girl who can see shadow Pokemon, and so the story unfolds. Your goal in this game is to catch, purify and train each shadow Pokemon as you battle to thwart the nasty plots of evil organizations. This game has several amazing 3D areas to explore and impressive battle graphics. You can also link up your GameBoy Advance to trade or battle Pokemon in Colosseum. The only things I really don't like about this game is the frustrating challenge level and that the action can get a little ripetitive at times. However, I really enjoyed this game much more than its sequel, "XD". The Pokemon you can catch are rarer and more coveted, and the mature twist makes the game more immersive. The game is really fun and enjoyable, especially if you are a hardcore Pokemon fan.

The best part is , it came on my birth day. You can catch some awsome poke'mon. My fave is Suicune. I recomend this sender and this game!




p.s. When you go to catch Raikou, use ground and grass types. ;D

Got it within a week and the discs were in awesome condition. Could have used a notification about the package being sent out and a tracking number but it got here safe and sound so no big complaints.

Teriffic game for the series! Unlike many (or most) of the previous games, colosseum has a darker twist that really sparks up the idea of pokemon, using pokeballs that 'snatch' the "shadow" pokemon away from other trainers and then further purifying them of their dark auras. I purchased this game for my Wife, actually, but enjoyed watching her play through the world and also connecting her previous handheld game systems and transferring her familiar pocket monsters into the new game. Quite a fun system!

I really like the dual-aspect of both battling and an true scenario. However. The RPG side is relatively short and only 48 pokemon can be snagged. I like how the sequel, Pokemon XD, is much more in depth, but I also take into consideration that Colosseum is just that, a battle game. The scenario part is just an awesome added bonus and whets your whistle for the XD gameplay.

My kids can't stop playing this game! It may be an older game, but it sure does play well. Highly recomended for any one who likes Pokemon.

A brand new dimension to Pokemon games! It features brand new RPG in reality and real-life situations! It's like meeting the Pokemon face-to-face through to TV! Many challenges await YOU as you start with the adventure, this is no normal GBA Ruby and Sapphire. You get a chance to kick the bad people's butt and get their Pokemon! In other words, you can steal Pokemon from baddies and trainers - with an exception that they are dark types (which means that they are so called made to dark by the baddies). On the way, you will meet new characters and even a chance to see Celebi which will help you in your quests!

the game is so much fun to play lots of hidden places and things and never ending fun . I actually bought this particular auction because it came with the Jirachi bonus disk the only way to unlock Jirachi with out a gameshark. Catch and purify all 48 shadow pokemon the build up the strength and hp and battle through the game to get ho-ho awesome game hours and hours of fun

My daughter LOVES this game! She saved her own money just to buy it, and so far she has not had one complaint! I, however, haven't seen much of her for the last 48 hours... lol

This is a great game. It hepls the kids solve diferent problmes and plan how to get the different players cought.

This is a great game no matter which version you get. I play the more difficult moments in the game and my 6 year old daughter palys the more simple moments and we enjoy the whole game together.

I bought this game right after Christmas. Affordable price for parents over what I have priced in walmart, blockbuster,or even gamsetop. Pokeman game surpasses the description given. Extremely happy I bought this game and would do it again.

We have had this game before and sold it,when our children thought they haad beaten the game only to find out,that are local game store will buy it from you for 3.00 and sell it back to you the same day for 30.00.So when we obtained the game from E-Bay the kids was excitied and we got the game at a great price and in excellent condition.The seller made this buying experience a joy would deffently suggust that if this item is 1 on your X-mass list buy it from off of e-bay and save yourself tons of money.If your child/children are getting into Pokemon this is a must have

Pokemon Colosseum has great graphics & will entertain you for hours upon hours. It's a fresh take on Pokemon. If you like Pokemon, you'll love this game!
