Planet Terror (2007, DVD)

Excellent movie which I seen it in Cinema and preview edition of the DVD.

"Planet Terror" is Robert Rodriguez's half of "Grindhouse" and it is taking grindhouse cinema to the max. The movie do not make sense in any aspect but anyone who appreciates will have a great time throughout. Rose McCowen machine guns sure is catchy and memorable but other characters are freaky yet memorable like the colored co-ordinated Anesthetist-lesbian wife, the happy-go-lucky babysitter twins and of course the Hagues brothers formed a feud with secret recipes, Tammy by Fergie and the pervert by Tarantino. The cameo is always fun and scene stealing.

The bonus feature is a little thin similar to Death Proof. However, the movie itself is already a big winner which makes up for it. I do like the trailer as I am a sucker for it. The transfer quality is outstanding and it is definitely a must have, even if you skip Deathproof, this is a good buy!!

I heard of this movie and reviews from people I know. Based on the reviewes I received I purchased this movie. It was ok, not as good as what I was told; however, still ok. Received this movie in very good time

Tarrentino has done it again!! The movie is weird, but keeps you watching it. Hubby loves all of Tarrentinos movies, I got it for him thinking I wouldnt care to watch it, but I did and it wasnt bad, interesting enough to keep ya watching, lots of "zombies" and the humans get to live all together in a safe place...if you like em weird then you gotta see it.

Never before have we watched a movie with big name actors that was so awful!  We suffered through the whole thing hoping it would get better - it didn't!

I chose to buy this movie even I've seen it in the theatre last year. Overall, this is a highly recomended one for those who love to see classical style action - zombie film. The special effects used in the movie are really impressed, explosive and made you feel the reality as if you are in the movie. The main actress and actor in the movie are just so great. Ebay is my choice for purchasing this DVD because it offers me a variety of prices, so that I can consider with other retailer stores.

I do not consider myself a person who can review a movie properly but, all I can say about this movie is, WOW!!!!! I really loved this movie. I am a real horror movie buff and I loved "Night", "Return", "Day", "Dawn", and "Land" of the Dead movies but I really felt this movie topped all of them as far as gore and definitely action. Even my favorite zombie movie actor Tom Savini had a really great role and kill scene. This movie is a keeper. All I can say is "WATCH IT"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This movie was a great funny action movie. I would rank it wright up there with army of darkness, and if you don't know who Bruce Camble is go away.

This DVD was the one I was looking for to complete my collection. It Plays fantastic and in perfect condition. Sorry about the late feedback but I was rear ended by a Drunk, driving an 18 Wheeler. It put me down for awhile but I am back up and will be looking at your Inventory. You were fantastic at getting the merchandice out and deserve an A+++++++++ for service. It is people like you that make e-bay great. Keep up the good work.

A highly creative film (that was fun, cringing, and difficult to watch) that incorporated all the elements that you would expect from ten cult movies ranging from an exploding head, a chipped tooth, amputation, dislocation, blood, gore, puss, dislocation, foreign objects embedded in bodies, a child (Rodriguez's kid, Rebel) introducing a bullet into his own head, and yes, a melting member.

I'm a big fan of blood and gore, but Robert Rodriguez has really pushed the envelope with his latest body of work. It may have been too much...way too much for me.

Watch out for the Machete trailer prior to the start of Planet Terror with fan favorite Danny Trejo (Desperado, From Dusk Till Dawn, Con Air, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories), Jeff Fahey (Psycho III, Darkman III: Die Darkman Die), and the beloved Cheech Marin (Desperado, From Dusk Till Dawn, Lion King, Once Upon a Time in Mexico). Efforts in the two-day shoot of this parodied trailer have given birth to the actual film of the same title that is now in production (2008).


Cherry is zipping up the boot of her right leg when she says "I need a dramatic change in my life". Her right leg is also the same leg which is later amputated.

Very fast, will look to buy from seller again DVD was in mint condition. DVD was in better condition than all the others I've bought. Thanks

If you can deal with the older look and appreciate it then you will LOVE this..Endless gore and this movie explodes with awesome gore..

If you are into classic cult, this is it!!!!! Showed it on a wall at a party for background and the party stopped to watch the entire thing.Freddy Rodriguez is awsome, Rose McGowan isn't too bad either!! I wish the "Grindhouse Gang" would do more.

Great splatter flick! Humerous. A sure fire cult classic. I like how they cut the sex scene. I like the action on the pocketbike. I like how the main chracter is such a woose but is treated like he's some super tough guy.

i loved this movie. Planet terror is the goreist movie that i seen in a long time. the movie is just like how they use to show in drive in movie theaters.
this movie is a movie that at points will make kring, laugh, and even be grossed out. i recomend this movie to anybody who loves to be entertained.

YOU'RE AVERAGE RUN OF THE MILL ZOMBIE FLICK WITH SOME NEAT TWISTS AND TURNS. SOMETHINGS ARE SO SILLY THEY ARE OUTRIGHT STUPID. WHICH IS WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO THINK. SEEING ROSE MCGOWAN WITH A SHOTGUN,BAZOOKA,& ROCKET LAUNCHER ATTACHED AS A LEG IS WORTH THE PRICE OF THE DVD ITSELF. DON'T GO AND WASTE MORE THAT $8 ON THIS TITLE. IF IT IS RAINY AND YOU HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO WATCH IT,OTHERWISE GET ANOTHER FLICK.

Yeah, wicked fun. I loved the plot, I loved the characters... the leading man... isn't that Robert Rodriguez's brother? I dunno... I loved the whole thing, through and through... a visual masterpiece, if you can take the gore. Outstanding.

This is a great tribute to the drive-in movies we used to watch back in the late seventies. It's got all the action and wild special FX with just the right amount of campiness and overacting! I prefered this movie slightly more than "Death Proof" but I lean toward Sci-Fi anyway. This is a great flick to throw in if you want to remember your crazy youth or tell your 20-something friends what movies were like back in the day...

The Ebay transaction was great! The movie it'self well, it was kinda weird, lots of outdated Si Fi stuff, they didn't spend alot of money making this film. I bought it, I watched it and doubt I'll watch it again!

By now, ten years after Pulp Fiction, five years after Kill Bill, and several years after Sin City....well, you should, at the very least, have some notion of what this movie would be like. If that's percisley why you're interested....let me say you will not be disappointed.

This part of Grind House is an absolute blast. The action is great, the story even better. Also, Rodriguez makes very good use of camera effects to create a style that is true to the 70's cinema - even throwing in some film hiccups here and there. There are also classic 70's characters and scene set-up / dialouges. There are some things that go unexplained in this movie, but I find the fact that it's not explained much more interesting than some contrived reason or backstory. (ie: who is El Wray and why does everyone seem to know him?)

This movie is an absolute blast from beginning to end with many unexpected laughs. Parents should know it has no problem earning every bit of its "R" rating.

As I said, by now you should know what you're getting into with this movie..and if that's percisely the reason you're interested in it you'll not be disappointed!

i purchased this planet terror dvd and i don't have a new copy w/ me to compare it but everything seemed to be correct. the dvd wasn't scratched or smudged and it played just fine. the dvd cover box was in good too w/ no water damage or warping. so overall everything was in pretty good shape. no mishaps here.

movie was good this was got to go with the prop that I bought my mother of the baby at the very end of the movie. movie was shipped fast the only draw back was that it had een opened already I would of rather had it sealed but over all everything was very good

This item arrived promplty and it was in mint condition. I am very happy with this transacation.

Very impressive movie. The action is very funny and has an attactive women playing the "Rambo" or "oo7" role. There is lots of gore so I would not recommend to those who are faint in heart. What makes this movie stick out is that it doesn't try to be another 007, Matrix, or zombie flick. IT'S a new type of Horror! A FUNNY HORROR!

The dvd came in great condition and arrived on time.  I would definitly buy from ths sellar again. Over all it was a very very very good experience.

Loaded with action...a cross between comic books, zombie flicks, and B-movie classics. I loved the drive-in movie music and flashbacks...even the artifacts built into the celluloid. Too clever! Lots of insider jokes for us B-movie fans, too. I bought this for my brother because I knew he'd love it, too!
