Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003, DVD)

I saw this movie a couple times beacuse it was so much fun to watch for people of all ages. It is a must see.

I am disappointed that took from won bid 9 Jul shipped 12 Jul, but received 21 Jul (envelope had 2 - 42cents stamp. I paid $4.50 for shipping cost for the DVD.//YC

This is truley a great movie.Better yet, some of the catchy phases and songs in the movie is said on The Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Great movie effects and acting. All of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies are worth having on dvd!!!!!!!!!!!

I have recently gone through a separation with my wife. In replacing some of the lost items I had with her, this is one of them. I have the series now. It was a very good movie and well put together. I honestly don't know anyone who has not seen this movie and not loved it. If you haven't you should at least give this on a try.

I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes a good adventure!!!! It is action packed and it keeps you on your sit the whole time. You could not ask for a better cast of characters to play the roles. Johnny Depp is a knock out and Orlando Bloom is just amazing!!!!

If you haven't seen this movie yet...YOU NEED TO. There's not much I can say about this movie that hasn't already been said...Great cast...Great effects...Great story...the only thing I can add is NINJAS ARE COOLER THAN PIRATES :O)

I decided to buy the movie because I owned the 2nd and the 3rd, but didn't have the 1st. I liked that I was able to get it at a price lower than that of a store.

The start of the trilogy. What can I say, this is the movie that caused so many Johnny Depp fans to fall in love all over again! Orlando Bloom, a new younger heart throb it seems. I lost the original one I bought and just HAD to replace it. Don't ever think I'll get tired of watching these movies!

I like Johnny Depp, & I saw the movie at the theater; I wanted to keep the movie so thats why I bought it. Also I like Orlando Bloom!

Few action/fantasy movies deliver a plot worth following but the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy is an exception for its interestingly structured narrative that is driven by the antagonism between the free-wheeling desires of pirates and the more well shaved desires of those in authority (such as that of the East India Trading Co.). The films are very enjoyable, though sometimes at a price as when the "cannibal" type/trope/character (see Pirates 2) makes an appearance - which doesn't sit well in the stomach.

The movies were in great condition. They were wrapped very well so that the DVDs and the actual cases weren't damaged in any way. Thanks for letting me buy the whole trilogy in such great condition and all at once.

This is one the whole family will enjoy with Adventure and Excitement, it is Humorous and even Romantic! Adventure on the high sea really entices the senses for adventure. Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) plays a wonderful role of this mysterious, sometimes funny, charming pirate. His ship the Black Pearl has been stolen by Captain Barbosa (Geoffrey Rush). Captain Jack Sparrow finds himself stranded and jailed in a town called Point Royal. Here lives the govenor's beautiful daughter Elizebeth (Keira Knightly)and her childhood friend Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), whom she had rescued from the sea at an early age. Captain Barbosa and his crew attack the town and kidnap Elizabeth in hopes to remove the horrible curse put on them, living forever as the undead. Will teams up with escaped Jack Sparrow and the adventure escalates as they steal a ship called the Gauntlet. They race to save Elizabeth and Jack Sparrow's ship the Black Pearl. On their heels is the ship called the Interceptor, the Commodore at the wheel fighting for justice. Be prepared for some wonderful stunts and sword fights with a crew of the gory undead pirates. This Disc consist of a main menu of areas to explore including deleted and alternate scenes, bloopers, history of pirates, diary of a pirate, diary of a ship and many more. Over 10 hours of special features. Unbelievable all it took to put this movie together! Well worth it!

I bought this dvd because this is the only one that I didn't have. It is in very good shape. Was delivered quickly. Price was awesome. Thank you.
