Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007, DVD)

everything was ok, but Capt. Jack Sparrow lost more of his first movie personality. Even Capt. Barbosa lost some personality that made him great in the first movie. I really wanted to see the battle that killed the kraken.

While I love Johnny Depp as the Character Jack Sparrow this continuing saga is just cliche' its still full of the swash buckling Piracy we all enjoy but the Characters have all lost the UMPff of the two previous movies I have got say say with much reluctance since I am such a fan of all the core Actors and Actress that this movie is tired and boring and the actors themselves "Parlay" this boredom very obviously throughout..its "ok" but not super duper and OH Please whats all the running back and forth,even the fantasy crabs taking the ship to the ocean scene ..way to Salvador Dali for me..

I love the Pirates movies, so since I own the first two, I decided to buy the third one before I had seen it. I mean, you can't have the first two and not have the last one! However, I was a little disappointed about the storyline of this last one-- Kinda hard to follow, too much going on, there were so many new characters and themes. It just wasn't as exciting/entertaining/funny as the first two were. Maybe if I watch it another time I would understand it more.. But apparently I'm not the only one who had a hard time following the plot of the movie: the booklet inside the DVD actually had a Question/Answer section because the movie was so confusing!! Oh well. I guess they got caught up on the special effects (which were pretty cool) and forgot about developing a story. It was an ok movie, but I personally don't think it measured up to the first two at all. I was pretty disappointed. It coulda been so good!! :(

johnny depp movies are the greatest. i love the fact that for all three movies they kept the same characters. it was funny, mistierous, and just fun to watch. loved the monkey also. he looked so cute when he was almost frozen. as to the mailing of the movie cant complaint. it was brand new it came just in the time frame given no problem i would recomend the seller.

This is a movie that you can enjoy. With so many movies, there's not enough time in the week to watch them all. This is one of those movies that you watch in the theater. Then as soon as it's on dvd, you go out and get it.

the movie is great, good story, good graphic and effects.

It is a lot darker version story than before. Usually I don't like Johnny Depps acting, but as before, being Capt'n Jack Sparrow is like a second nature to him.

Granted the story does involve the previous series, but it is more of a story by it self too. Good movie.

The last of the three movies and probably the worst. Hollywood seems to only use their brain when making the first movie. Sequels seem to get lamer and lamer as they continue to grind them out. The only group to really keep faith with the quality of the original is the Indiana Jones series. I am looking forward to the next one in hopes that the quality will be equal to their predecessors.

Just good fun!! A great cast , just plain fun!! It will keep you interested. Characters are funny, action scenes are awesome!!!

I really enjoyed this movie, the action, the scenery/special effects, the plot, all of it. This is the follow up to the second Pirates film-Dead Man's Chest, and it picks right up where #2 left off. You sometimes need to pay attention closely as the plot becomes tangled with various charactors double-crossing one another, but after all, they ARE pirates. Nobody is as good a pirate as Johnny Depp is as Captain Jack Sparrow. An excellent finish(?) to the series, and a darn good movie for everyone to see.

The movie had a lot of action but lacked continuity. The first Pirates of the Caribbean was the best out of the three.

I decided to buy this dvd for my son. It was a gift to him for Valentine's Day. He is really into the whole series of the pirates of the caribbean. And of course, I went to ebay knowing that I would be able to get this dvd for a good price. And I was able to do that.
This dvd is gone fantastically and the choreography along with the set up/props are superb!! All the actors/actresses did a splendid job!!!

My favorite of the three potc movies! The effects are great, the story is great,I saw this movie in the theater and I laughed out loud many times. I feel that this was the most humorous pirates movie yet.

It's not my favorite of the Pirates series. I bought it, because I hate paying full price.I don't know 100 words thank you.

This is a thoroughly entertaining movie. The ending predicts another sequel coming which is a welcome. The story line is fast-moving and gripping. This is a worthy addition to anyone's dvds collection.

I bought this movie because I really liked the first two and looked forward to watching it. This movie was not as fun to watch as the first two. It was a lot harder to sort out the plot and with so many characters that had thick accents it was difficult to understand what the heck they were saying. The special effects were great and it was really action packed so if that is what you are looking for in a movie then you will enjoy it. The first two had a lot of humor in them but this one was not nearly as funny. I was expecting a lot more in the movie and was very disappointed by it. The ending did leave enough room for a part four, in which I would look forward to watching but would leave the captions on so I might be able to follow the story a bit closer. This movie left me saying to myself "what the heck was that all about?"

Excellent movie for all you pirate lovers :). I found this movie upbeat and intriguing. Get a large bowl of popcorn and enjoy!

the first two hours of this movie will put you to sleep. The last 18 minutes are ok...not great, but ok.

Well written, kept the same actors and humorous interplay between them. Thought the beginning sequence a little depressing but probably was accurate for the times. balance of movie was fast paced and enjoyable.

the movie was well put together and made, but nothing beats the first one. I felt in this movie there was a lot of holes, but we got the general idea, and the special affects were great! the product shipped very fast at a reasonable price.

The third and final enstallment of the 'Pirates' trilogy is spellbinding!! Hans Zimmer's musical endeavors are, I think, at his best here. Being a musician myself, this is one thing I really focus on when watching movies. With so many surproses around every corner, you'll be sitting on the edge of your seat along with that tear in the corner of eye waiting for you to just let go. 5-Star perfoprmances, structure, and of course, the score!

I bought it as a gift, but in my opinion it's a great movie which everyone in the family will like and want to watch over and over again.
