Ping G5 Driver Golf Club

I have been playing golf for about 15 years and up until about 2 weeks ago was a solid 13 handicap. I purchased a Ping G5 Driver and in my last four rounds have consistently shot 80 and under. Does the club go 25 yards farther? No...I have always hit the ball an average of 240 off the tee. The best part about this driver is how straight the ball flight is. Many times I would keep distance but end up in the rough, under a tree, behind that favorite bush (or least favorite ) and the difference now is how straight my ball flight is. The club has a great feel and because of the straightness has added a lot of confidence to my iron play as well. I am more comfortable attacking narrower fairways than pulling out a long iron. I am totally satisfied with this club and would recommend it to anyone looking to shave a few strokes and get a great pop in their swing.

I think the driver is a very good driver to play with. I needed a new one and I heard that the G5 was a great one to look at. I do like the club very much. It was a good cheap buy for me.

Very long driver with high boring ball flight. Cuts through the wind and still goes forever. Nice set up and easy to hit. Has a tendency to have a power fade which is great for a hooker like me.

Picked up a 9-degree G5 with the NV65 shaft, picked up 15-20 dead-straight yards with it. GREAT CLUB.

Big mistake on my part I was thinking I was bidding on a G10 driver not so and I don't drink ,any way I got the club. Now I am looking for a buyer.I have more clubs than a lot of dealers.

With the upgraded shaft plus a clean head, this G5 is top of the line. I know there are always new models that we all just have to try... the search for magic, but this club was top-notch 2 years ago - and still is. I buy and sell equipment and never play a driver more than 6 months. This driver is just a good as any of my others.

I really like the G5 Driver. The ball flight is much straighter than my old driver, and by hitting it straight (as opposed to slicing) I'm getting more distance. I'm very happy with my purchase & would buy from him again.

It is the make, model, specs I have been looking for. It came in "like New" condition and it came quickly. Half the price of the pro shop. If someone out there can sell me a swing that repeats...I'll pay double for it !!!!!

I had one with a stiff flex and couldn't hit it very well. This is a real nice club and I hit it well the first time. Very nice club.

I received the g 5 driver in 2 days once i purchased it. From the very first time i tee it up to present time i ve hit it straight and a little longer than the driver i purchase new for 499.00. I very satified with the purchase and also satified with the condition the driver was in. tks scotland

First, the "GREAT SHAPE" was a dent on the face of the club (not show or mentioned in the discription) Second, there was black marker covering the toe, heel and some of the back of the club (also not mentioned). Not in very GREAT SHAPE. If the club would have had more pics or aleast some comment about the dent or black marker cover up, I would never even had placed a bid on this club!

I absolutely LOVE this driver. I have TWO G5 drivers in my bag. One is 9.5* with a stiff Grafalloy Prolaunch shaft. The ball really jumps off the face and launches into orbit before landing well past anyone I ever play with. The other one is a 7.5* - with an Aldila shaft that I use when I'm driving into the wind.

I'm 5'8", 150 Lbs, and I regularly outdrive bigger guys with their new Nike Sumo Sasquatches. I figured, I could spend $300 on eBay for TWO G5s or one G10. I'm very pleased with the G5s!!!

This is an outstanding driver. I've played TaylorMade for 15 years and was always pleased but wish I had switched to Ping sooner. It's accuracy and distance are second to none.

I bought used driver of ping g5 few weeks ago. However,seller sold not original
driver but immetation they sent.
After that,I decided that I never buy again without seeing. It is my opinion.

It would've received an excellent rating but the shaft broke right at the hozel. The Ping representative is supposed to show up at our club this month and if he replaces it free of charge, I would be glad to rerate it. I am able to get 10- 20 more yards from it than my last driver. I have never beat my driver on the ground after a shot, so I am not sure why it broke.

Excellent product, hit G2 before buying G5. Totally satisfied with the drivability of this club. Hit Taylormade 580XD before and wanted to upgrade without spending a lot of money. Would recommend to others.

I liked that I was able to contact via phone and arrange for next day shipping. Not only did seller get shipped next day.they charged very minimal to do so.

I hit a demo model last year and liked the way it felt. I needed a new driver anyway. I had a persimmon walter hagen wood set, it was definitely time to upgrade. I've always liked ping, so when I saw the G5 driver for sale I jumped on it. I've taken it to the range and hit it, man!!! The ball explodes off the club. I think I hit it an extra 20 to 30 yards in comparison to my last driver

The Ping G5 Driver has a very solid feel for a driver. It gives a great sense of control from the tee box. I absolutely love mine.
