Episode 3 of the 4-part Phantasy Star ONLINE series. This chapter was made Exclusivly for GameCube and was a depature from the Action/RPG elements of the other 3 chapters. This chapter combiines Card Elements with Turn-based RPG Missions. It has a Great Story and Beautiful Artwork but some players may find it boreing. The Online servers go down April 2007, BUT there is progress on Free Private Servers supporting it, just look for Schthack's.
Well, I haven't finished it yet, but it is pretty good. The storyline is developed by talking to ingame characters, which is rather unique, because most games start out with like a prologue type thing. Instead of the average "kill all the monster" game, you have to initiate in battles, where you use cards, to summon monsters to fight for you, or equip items. The combinations get a little challenging, but with a little patience, you eventually get it. In conclusion, I give this game an 8, out of 10. this review submitted by the son of e-bayer whom the game was purchased for.
It's just good if you're the one playing it. I mean, just watching it is really boring, but if you sit down and play it, it's really fun and you like it. I used to watch my sisters and dad play it all the time. I thought they were stupid for liking something that looked so dumb. But I got bored one day and sat down to play it with my oldest sister. i liked it a lot. Now I play it quite a bit. Well, not so much as to take away all of my time. There are things I'd rather do than play a video game, but that's because I'm not a video game person. For a video game freak, you'll love it!

Pros: Fun Battle System, Graphics (Sometimes)
Cons: A Bit Confusing, Steep Learning Curve
Among RPG fans, there were two kinds of us growing up. Those who preferred the Phantasy Star series across Sega consoles, and then there were those of us who preferred Final Fantasy across Nintendo consoles. Growing up I was always a Final Fantasy type of guy, and I'll still argue til I'm blue in the face that this series is deeper and more involved than Phantasy Star. With that said, my opinion isn't run by the fact that Final Fantasy has seen many more releases. In fact, the Final Fantasy series has gone to crap as of late, with such releases as Final Fantasy X and XI. This review isn't...

Pros: Well planned, lost of custom options, more then enough cards. Online is great
Cons: The story is disappointing. Comps can sometimes take a long time to finish their turn
Hmm...how can I find the right words to explain how cool a card game is? I'm personally not a fan of card games such as Magic, however I decided to give PSO a try. The results? Story: Well unfortunately, the game has the same bad story. Although it s different from the previous episode. In episodes 1 and 2, you are a mercenary in search of Rico, the principle's daughter. From there you go to the strange planet of Ragol and start your adventure. In episode 3, trouble isn't just stirring on Ragol, but in the government as well. Now you have the freedom to take part on two different sides....
