I bought the game for my husband. He had played it a few years ago and liked it but his brother had it not him. He wanted to play it again. I do not play games but I can tell you that he is enjoying it very much. He loves that kind of games. He said it helps him relax ater a hard day at work.

While the Dreamcast s life was short lived, Sega s Sonic Team was able to get out Phantasy Star Online, as well as PSOv.2. I never messed with the original PSO, but I fell in love with PSOv.2, and I fell hard. Now that Sega has become a third-party developer, they re able to focus all their attention on their games. And what s better than bringing back one of the most popular games on Dreamcast for the Gamecube and Xbox (PS2 got the shaft on this one), and adding in new levels and a continuing story with Episode II. The Gamecube got it first, and then later came the game for Xbox fans....

Phantasy Star On Line for the X box is a phenomenal game and I m completely addicted! Originally released for Dreamcast and Game Cube (I haven t played either version), the game previously supported live chat through a keyboard. Gamezone.com has this to say about the similarity, and I have to take their word for it: The gameplay is the exact same as the Dreamcast version, since the Xbox controller resembles the DC controller a lot, and the buttons are in the same positions. This game's objective is to beat an identity known as Dark Falz. You get a item known as a Mag. It is a little pet whom stats you can level up to help your own. There are a variety of items you can collect. Mostly equipment. It is a rpg (A game where you gain stats for your character) Buy or Rent? = Buy. Alot of replay value. It is one of the best RPG titles for X-box and one of the only MMORPG. Graphics=7 Gameplay=9 Controls=5 SFX=6 Overall=8

Phantasy Star. The second greatest RPG series ever. This online series of games are extremely fun and addicting. The XBox version of the game incorperates voice chat. That alone makes it better than the Gamecube Version. Secondly, you don't have to by a modem or network adapter. But you do have to buy an XBox Live Subscription. There is a way to get around that, but I can't speak about it. Oh yes, and you have to pay an EXTRA fee of $8.95 to play online.
