Being a body piercer/tech for the last 10 years ,I like buying anything related in & to my field. This book tells you the basics that you need to know. Good for anyone begining in the field or someone who is already in the field to brush up on their skills. In comparison to most other books , this one is a little more descriptive on facial muslces, nerves, and the skin. Not just "this is how you do it and GET IN THERE!' type book. There are other sections in the book that make the reader know what they're getting into,... liability issues, down to the consultations, and the forms.
I would definately recommend this book to others and hope that they would read it and say the same thing.
Very informative. Great for the student or seasoned professional. The information on color theory and on types of pigments were very good. Would complement any formal training well. The only thing it lacked was sample documents for Health History, Consent, etc. You can get those from your instructor or by joining AAM. Would not of wanted to pay full price though. Glad I found it on E-Bay
