I am a plane freek and this movie definetly took me to a time that i did not live in and joust got me drawn into. Its joust amazing in the Dog fights and great movie for the entire family. My hat's off to the actors and historians that made it all posible. Great movie for the entire family.

While skipping through all the sappy parts (some are just oozing in sap) have to admit that it still looks pretty good on blu ray. Actually it looks really good on high def. So if you can stomach the sap it will make a good date movie. Downside to the high def... While my girlfriend (along with virtually every other woman I know) have drooled or still drool over Josh Hartnet his unibrow really stands out in high definition.

Pearl HarborThis version is definitely worth the watch. The story moves along at a good pace and no where is there any lagging. Good angles of the bombing of Pearl Harbor that I have never seen photographed as they are here. Excellent! Unfortunately, it could have been better cast as some of the actors don't deliver. They act the character, instead of becoming the character.

I like it because it is a decent movie about a very interesting time. I bought it because I own a playstation 3 and i thought the blu-ray version of this movie would be a good investment to go with it...I was right

Yes the Blu-ray audio & video a excellent. There is nothing extra in the extras on the Blu-ray format over the regular DVD format. For me the movie did not flow well, poor script, not impressed with the acting. The special effects during the invasion were awesome, but it is not enough to save an average movie and not enough to make it worth paying extra for the Blu-ray version of this movie.

Awesome MovieViewing the action of this movie in full 1080p resolution is just mind blowing! A must have for someone trying to beef up their Blu Ray collection.

Last summer we started a tradition of seeing movies that make us feel patriotic. On the Fourth of July we went to see The Patriot. Today which is Memorial Day we went to see Pearl Harbor. I am not going to tell you much of the story of Pearl Harbor. I am going to tell you what I liked about it and why I would see it again. Movies like this make us proud to be Americans. I think that sometimes we take our freedoms for granted. We sometimes need to be reminded that men gave our lives for the freedoms we have.
