what I loved about it was the price. If I bought the same book in a store it would have cost 3 times as much , and It was in perfect condition when I recieved it. What a great way to pass a little savings on to the customer. It's almost like a constant sale is going on , on ebay!

I bought this specifically to get her Hummingbird Cake recipe and was thrilled with all of the other wonderful recipes it contains. If you need a recipe for almost any type of celebration, this is the book to purchase. Her humor is delightful and her love of family shines throughout the book.

I purchased the book because I love Paula's recipes and this one doesn't disappoint. There could be a few more pictures of the finished dishes.

I was searching for a gift for a friend and she loves Paula Dean and wanted one of her Cookbooks. It was an awesome price and came NEW in package which was even better and my friend LOVED it. I love the simplicity of the recipes in this book, even the format of how they are written is great. I bought this book because I enjoy watching Paula Deen on television, her down to earth personality and deep southern drawl reminds me of the South where I grew up. The recipes included in the book taste, and look as good as they do on T.V. I plan to buy others.

As a Yankee transplanted to the south, this cookbook is fun and very easy to follow. I've made several recipes that were quick and easy and impressed my southern friends!! They even asked me for the recipes!! The book has a lot of pictures and stories behind the recipes. I highly recommend this cookbook for the beginner cook.

i bought this book as a gift for a friend at christmas,and she loved it.
went by her house several times to find her reading and enjoying it. she has also been cooking some of the recipes, its a great book. i loved the way it had recipes along with stories, and qoutes from paula it seems like you learn alot more about the person writing the book that way. it was well presented and the cover shot was nice, but the best part is it was a gift that was wanted by the person who got it.

My husband is the cook around here. He loves Paula Deen's cooking style so the recipes she chose for the book really appealed to him a lot. The book is really nice looking on top of it, and it is easy to understand. The demonstrative pictures of the foods make mouthwatering eats just wonderful to imagine creating yourself. My husband is one to experiment with different spices and versions of excellent recipes....the basics in these shown are really fantastic. He is very happy with it.

I am a big Paula Deen fan and was exicted to purchase this cookbook I did not have yet. I am already finding new recipes to try.

Tried the Low country boil over Labor Day weekend and it was as good as stated in the book. There are so many things to try and trust me, they will be tried. this book is by far the best cookbook I've ever purchased which is why I bought the other Paula Deen books.

first of all, I love Paula Deen. I was looking for one specific rescipe. I found it. The rest of the book is great,because she writes things out in simple terms for everyone to understand!! In the near future,more than likely I will buy more of her books. By the way, I am Ann Hiley, Daniel"s wife. He bought this book for me. BRING HER ON!!

I love Paula Deen and her cookbooks is out of this world. The book is easy to follow along and the food is excellent.

Love the recipe and the illustration. The recipes are good and the ingredients are ones you can buy at the grocery store. Like Paula's pearls of wisdom. The stories about her and her family. All around I just like Paula country cooking.

The cookbook was in excellent shape, but had a light stain on the front edge of the book....looked sort of like a coffee stain, but very light. I had intended to give it as a gift, but then decided to keep it myself. Otherwise, the book looked unused.

I love this book. If you have ever seen Paula Deen, you know that she is down to earth, both, in what she says and how she cooks. This book is the life story of Paula Deen and what she has gone through to get where she is at today. She has been through a lot of ups and downs and to read what she has accomplished through all of that is astounding. She is someone who you would love to be friends. I bought the book because I love Paula Deen. I wanted to know more about her personal life and this tells all. I hope you will love the book as much as I do.

The recipes are simple, but will wow everyone. I love that it is organized into "party" plans. I just need to pick the celebration and I have the whole menu.

Being a fan of Paula Deen's I am trying to get a collection of her recipies. I had made several recipies from this book and my friend wanted one also. I ordered this book from e-bay as a gift. I was very pleased with it and so was my friend.
