'Parasite Eve' by Squaresoft, has an interesting story line which lends itself well to the imagination, fantastic gameplay, cinematic cut scenes, and is challenging enough to cause anybody that can actually play through entire game, to acquire a real sense of accomplishment. 'Parasite Eve', is part strategy game, as item management has as much to do with completing the game easier, as does the strategy one employs to advance or beating boss fights; of which it has some of the trickiest, long lasting and toughest I've ever seen. Save any tools acquired to move the parameters such as range of weapon or number of rounds, from a weapon you don't want to the one you like; I used an SG550 for example. The Rocket Launcher is nice but really not necessary to beat any Boss fight, or complete the game. One major tip, play on beyond recommended level 33 after completing Museum, continue working Museum area, collecting Medicines, preferably 3's and 4's, level-up parasite attributes, Etc., then store extra Medicines, Etc, with Wayne at the Precinct House, return to Museum, and up slime covered stairs for confrontation with Eve at the Statue of Liberty, make sure to have ample health-ups for this battle, then upon winding up on the Carrier Ship, talk to Wayne, who in addition to engraving your weapon and armor with names of your choosing, will have all the items you stored with him at Precinct House; fully stocked with more health than you should need, you'll beat the 'Ultimate Being', 4 or 5 stage battle with ease in one attempt. Keep Maeda's gun, and look for Police Captain to throw you a special clip, use it, as it does 999 damage per shot! Make sure you know the route to take, on run through ship, as one wrong turn, its all over! Good Luck! You'd better be on your game, 'cause Square sure was with Parasite Eve. (If you play all the way through the game, you'll understand the 'Love-Hate' relationship that could develope, but I guarantee you'll never forget Parasite Eve). P.S.- I found the EX-GAME to be redundant and monotenous, and not nearly as fun as actual game!
