"Pandora's Clock" is a wonderful book written by John Nance, one of the best aviation writers of the decade. This book is an aviation thriller, about a deadly virus on board a plane. The plane is headed for NY and while on board, an elderly man dies of a heart attack. But they find out he was exposed to a deadly virus, the effects of which are not fully known. The plane is not allowed to land, no country will bear the risk. They are faced with the possibility of dying a horrible death, or of being killed by their own country. This book, while perhaps not very realistic, is a satisfying read...
