This camera was absolutey perfect. The quality at high resolution looked good to me. I made a couple good street racing videos with it. The sound quality was good too. Deffiently a hott little piece to have!

1. This camcorder is a great value. You should get this DVD camcorder instead of spending over $350 for miniDV technology.
2. Easy to use.
3. Easy to follow the instructions in User Guide book.
4. Not only this camcorder accepted Panasonic mini DVD but it is also use any mini DVD brand (such as Maxell, HP, Samsung, Sony, Memorex, Verbatim)
5. The picture quality of the camera is okay, nice to watch on TV, but not good to watch on computer
6. It doesn't have a built-in light. So you cannot record in the dark place, so be aware of it.
7. The zoom is good
8. It does not come with video editor software.
9. Sometime, it does not play on regular DVD player that you could purchase at Wal-Mart, Best Buy, or any electronic stores.
10. This is my first camcorder, and I am happy with it. It is good for first time buyer, but not recommend if you are going to do a lot of video editing.
11. Easy to purchase accessories for this camcorder online, not in store.
12. For a DVD camcorder, this is not a bad choice.
13. The electronic image stabilization will lower the overall resolution and will work less successfully than camcorders which use an optical image stabilizer. So, if you want to have better picture, then do not use this function.
14. Battery life is good (up to 2 hours of continuous recording)
15. The sound is awesome. I love it
16. Have difficult time to convert from Video mode to MPEG or AVI format

good deal on camcorderthe camcorder is easy to use and has great zoom. i got a good price on it. the only bad thing is it didnt come with a power cord, which you apparently need in order to finalize your dvd's so you can watch them on a dvd player. i will have to try and find one online or at a store.

Great camcorder for a great price2 of 2 people found this review helpful.
I really like the size and the way it fits in my hand. I am still learning about all the different Cd for it and what each one does. Once I figure them out it will much better. The battery holds up to 2 hours of film time. The picture quality is great. It is easy to pack and carry. A good starter camcorder. I want to learn about this one and then invest in a better one.

Eight months old and unusuable. Oh, yeah, I have the parts warranty still, but no Panasonic services centers charge that way. It's all a flat fee from $207 and up - regardless of what's wrong! This camcorder lost some memories for us, and now we also lost the $479 we paid for it. Go to another brand!

I originally bought this camera because of its price and I heard that it was easy to use. It is very easy to figure out how to use but I was amazed at the quality of the movies that this little camera took. The 30X optical zoom is great for outdoor action shots as you can zoom right up onto someones face even if you are hundreds of feet away. The image stabilization really works quite well also. I was able to take record onto a DVD-R and then immediately put the DVD into my player at home and use it. I have a friend with a Sony DVD recorder and the Panasonic easily takes pictures that rivals the Sony but the Panasonic is easier to use when it comes to putting the movies up on the TV.

Poor resultion on video plus if you are taking video there's noise that comes with it. Short time on mini dvd at the high resalution 20mins. no stills either and if if it does there are really poor quality if you have a tripod you have to open the ports before you mount it on the tripod because if you don't it interfer's with the tripod. If you are a first time buyer, don't pay over 150 buks for it.
