Great little unit for recording on the go and extreamly easy to use. you can program the unit to record in a matter of seconds and the picture quality is excellent. Very simple menu system is very intuitive and uses an icon driven system. Much better than a vcr and has comercial skip (very handy).
Cons: Relativly small hard drive 40gb, although still get ~40 hours of TV quality video on it. Only 8 hours at high quality.

I like the unit as the discs recorded on it are VERY compatible with most every player around. I have other recorders whose recorded discs do NOT play back properly on most players. I bought it because I had the exact same unit previously. My previous unit was unrepairable so I bought another of the same model/make.
