Palm Tungsten T5

Since I purchased my Tungsten T5, I have sinced made my purchase cost back of the winning auction. It was shipped fast and I was able to install my business software on it the same day I received it. I was in the field the next day and closed a sale. The screen display, battery, cosmetic apperance are all great. I am very pleased with my purchase and services provided by this great eBay seller.

I've had a T5 since they came out. My original gave up the ghost so I started looking for an alternative and found this one on ebay and am glad I did since Palm quit making them. It's the best one they've ever made. Ron B

this a great product by plam. it has many features and is bluetooth compatable. i bouth it for my school work and it is great

I was told I could get download from internet and you can't so I had to pay even more to get the softwear that I needed and he didn't even offer to reinburse me the cost of the softwear.

Pros:

- Memory is non-volatile (if run out of batteries, you don't loose data!)
- 256MB memory! (216 available to user)
Cons:
- Battery life (~10 hrs)
- Sometimes freezes

You can stop looking for a PDA now, the T5 is all you could ever need in a PDA.
I have had my T5 for a year and of course it starts to give me trouble just when the warranty ends. Anyway this PDA is so good in my opinion that I will give it 5 stars even now.
I am an RN and my current job and our profession is changing enough that it is necessary to carry a resource regarding diseases and assessments, drug and medication information and lab values at my finger tips. I was able to find the software easy enough, but I needed the PDA to keep up with both myself and the software. I researched and was able to find a T5 at a very reasonable price. I have not regretted since.
I have a number of PDA's I dont know why I ended up with so many but I did. I can review about all of the Palm products. The T5 is head and shoulders above all of the others. The first thing I am amazed about is the battery. I dont know if it is by accident, or what but my battery in this unit has extremely long use. I can go for at least 4 days of heavy use before I need to recharge. None of the others come even close.
This unit is fast and easy to use, the colors and the large screen are all great.
Now I decided to take it one step further and try the LifeDrive, I was able to find one of those at a reasonable price and I loaded it up and it fell flat on its nose. I am back using my T5. Dont get me wrong, the LifeDrive is as good at times, but for some reason the battery does not last as long and the buttons on the side are always getting pushed. Now that my T5 is in need of repair I am getting to use the LifeDrive more and it deos work well, but the T5 is a bit better in my opinion.
I have the usrge to try the TX from what I have read, the TX is a T5 revisited, if that is true, why did they do that? The T5 was great. The revisions do not always match the original.

The color display on this Palm is awesome. It is a very well made product. The T5 is a very useful and user friendly organnizer. I would recomend any Palm product for anyone, but the T5 is really a step above the competition!
