This palm is a very handy device, although it lacks the built in WiFi. That was a quick fix though. It fits comferatbly in you hands and looks amazing. It works as a great MP3 Player, and the pictures are really good. The one thing that would make it great would be better computer software for it. It was actually kind of annoying to deal with, so I switched over to outlook. Other than that I would defiantly recommend this to everyone.
I really like that the Palm Tungsten E2 manages ALOT of stuff! I love the fact I even have music and games to fritter my time away when I do have down time. It's SUPER that I can keep my inventory on Excel Spreadsheets for a quick glance and to update my stock levels. Just wished that my cell phone provider (Suncom - now merged with T-Mobile) would support this device as a phone since it DOES have PHONE capabilities! Le sigh....such as life. I don't like that the PALM company only gives you a 90 day warranty and if the device 'dies' it'll cost you $149+ shipping to have the lithium ion battery replaced. You can buy a BRAND new device for a tad bit more. My previous Palm Tungsten E2 only lasted a tad over a year and a half before it went kaputze. I lucked out on finding a NEW PALM Tungsten E2 on eBay and was able to register the product with Palm online.
The E2 is an all-around great Palm. It is fast, easy to use, and has a very good display. Best of all, it is inexpensive! The Palm OS far exceeds the Windows Mobile platforms in many ways, and this device is incredibly stable.
These Palms have long life rechargeable batteries, great color displays, great built-in programs and options, multiple data entry means, and an almost limitless number of programs and utilities available for it!
I was happy with it out of the box. I enjoy using it as an MP3 player. I love using a GPS option for it -- with turn by turn voice commands. It is a fun Palm with or without the toys.
