Oz - The Complete Second Season (2003, DVD)

Oz was one of the greatest and most underrated shows on HBO. It was innovative and raw with it's inmates and officers. I only wish it was still on the air alomost like a Law and Order...Wishes.

The second season is even better then the first again if you like prison shows this is the series you need to see

I love Hbo's O.Z. series and this boxed set fit right in with my new collection. O.Z portrays the lives of inmates in a rather dysfunctional correctional system. Each character is well thought out and portrayed by talented actors.The story line keeps you hooked. A warning though this dvd series is not appropriate for young children due to profanity, nudity and other subject matter. The dvd's were in mint condition compared to other used dvd sets that I've purchased in the past. I can't wait to pop in the next disc!

i would not know anything about the product because i never received the product. the seller will not respond to emails and there is a investigation pending. it would help more if ebay were better at guaranteeing customers get products or their money back on items if they are not delivered as promised you have plenty of security to protect sellers from dead beat bidders it would be nice to have that same security as a buyer

I am a oz fan and needed this 4 my collection and i saw this at that price and new it had 2 be mine.

The DVD's have been great!! Thus far there have been no problems with my purchase. I enjoyed the serious and wanted to add it to my collection.

I wrote a full expanation of why I purchased OZ. Look on the review I wrote for the season 1. It is the same reason for buying season 2. So why be redundant?

I have watched this HBO series since it's introduction and was always captivated by the characters and storylines. The only regret was that I was unable to watch the sixth and final season when it originally aired. I nsever got around to buying the boxsets until recently cause they were originally too pricey (i.e. The Sopranos, The Wire). Thanks to Half.com/Ebay I have been able to do so without spending a small fortune equivalent to that of a morgage payment.

Back in March I ordered 3 DVD's 2 OZ and 1 Elvis. To be specific I ordered the complete seasons for 2nd and 3rd. I after a excess of over a month recieved My Elvis and the Copy of the 3rd season " NO 2nd season. I have sent a multitude of emails, recieved only one addressed to all about some family problems. It is now Jume 11th, no replies back from any of my emails, no product. If any one has any ideas or ways to reach the seller please let me know "BIG Thanks" in advance. NOt that it makes any difference but my birthday is in 3 days I would be very cool to get my DVD. I have not purchased any more DVD's to date. This feedback is not what I wanted to do, but did not know what else to do!

a continuation of HBO's OZ... life in Oswald Penatentary contiunes right where it left off.... life behind bars... soap opera like story telling.... but very very compelling.. really draws you in

Very exciting, keeps you on yout toes. The prison setting is one that people don't get to see much. So many Giant TV actors appear, you never know what will happen next.

i love the show oz and had to have the second season when i saw the first season my girlfriend is looking forward to getting more of the seasons of oz she is really an oz junky

item was listed as region 1 and recieved it and it was an asian copy.. ebay would not do anything about it because sale price was 24.99 and ebay dont do anything for purchases under 25.00 to sum it up BULLSHIT !!!!

I bought the second season of Oz because I bought the first season off ebay and I fell in love with the show. I decided to buy the second season so I could see what happend to the characters. I bought it off ebay because I like being able to purchase the television show seasons at a cheaper price than Best Buy of Walmart has. I love this season of Oz because I love the show.

Having watched the first Oz season, I was extrememly impressed with how much the second season was a step up. The character development was and continues to be in the later seasons absolutely amazing, and the plot is so concise and in-depth and REAL you absolutely fall in love with every murderer, cannibal, and drug-dealer in the Ozwald Penitentiary. HBO once again spurts out a masterpiece as they continue to use their lack of censorship to their advantage by creating a realistic prison environment and not one of those horrible fake ones you might see on ABC or CBS.
